i've been bulking for about a month now. just got the fitday program this week and decided to see how i was eating. came out to about 4,000 calories. i weigh almost about 157 lbs and am barely gaining weight. diet is pretty clean, came out to this:

tuesday 3,946 calories.. carb, protein, fat: 48, 31, 21
wednesday 3,844 calories... 38, 31, 31
today.. uhh.. not so clean.. so far 2,826 cals, 40, 38, 22 :eek:

yeah i had like an in-n-out 3x3, fries, and just had some fish sticks and fries right now

just thought i'd use this as an example to some people out there trying to gain weight. some people tend to need a lot more calories than others to gain weight. i read a post somewhere to use BW x 18 for bulk, BW x 15 to maintain, and BW x 12 to cut.. dont take these too seriously, they are meant to be a guideline

I'm also "blessed" with a metabolism like yours. I'm eating 4000cals to gain, and I'm about 152. I might even have to up it soon, haven't gained any weight since last week.

That is an awful lot of calories there man, I am 200 lbs and can gain at about 3400-3600, so its easy for me to bulk, cutting is less fun tho :P

well then i guess it'll be easy for me to cut. apparently benefits and downfalls to being either way

Ugh, you guys with hyper-speed mettabolism make guys like Defcon and I jealous, but the ends justify the means. My only suggestion would be to eat more, I know you're probably heard this before, try 4200-4300 cals.

Raise those cals till you're gainin a pound a week. I wish gaining weight was a ***** for me...

Why dont you go on the LEE PRIEST bulking diet of McDonalds? Or eat more rice with your spam and eggs. Haha. TYJ...just eat more...

grr... well i just had some albertacos and then some pie and some ice cream yum!!! dont even wanna know how many calories ive been consuming since ive been home on vacation haha.
