hi there, i train rugby which is a contact sport and i need to increase my body weight to be able to play at senior level. im 5'10ft and 141 pounds. i never did weight training or other types of training except training the actual sport. does anyone have advices how i can gain body weight?? thanks

Eat big. Lift big. You can find a good starting routine here (http://www.wannabebig.com/article.php?articleid=25).
Diet is harder as it will have to be tailored to your specific needs. Aim to eat 1g of protein per lb of bodyweight and make sure you're getting enough healthy fats (fish or flax oil). Eat a certain number of calories and if you don't gain weight after a week keep increasing them until you do. Have a read of the Diet and Nutrition forum.

always losing, im 17 years old, turning 18 this year and im from malta, i play in the forwards position, mostly as a flanker and u?
i do eat alot , but seems i cant gain weight

Track your daily calories and macronutrients, it helps to ensure you're eating enough.

yes but besides diet i thought id start gym, because still i need the muscle weight and not just fat weight, and to get muscle you have to work out. you got any routines for beginners? i liked the link the gimp gave me, thanks man
