View Full Version : The 1-2 month bulk
i'm going to keep a separate journal to log my diet. since i got a few extra dollars finally [ college student :( ], i'm going to go on a big 1 or 2 month bulk. lots of chicken, beef, tuna, milk, weight gainer... clean stuff.
i'm going to officially start after i come back from windsor, canada on wednesday, after i go grocery shopping!!!!!!!!!!
i'm 5'11" give or take, and 172 right now.

aiiiiight...
went grocery shopping finally. spent 106 bucks. hopefully lasts a month. got healthy food, and high in calories. this nutrition course has me focusing more on health this quarter (i'm sure that's all it will last).
start logging tomorrow.
BOOM! May take more than 1 month to hit 195 homey, just keep at it.

good luck Snow. $106 for a month, I spend more than that on milk a month.
good luck, keep it real man, dont try to gain too fast or youll hate yourself cause youll have a lot of fat to lose later.
in two months you can gain 8-16 pounds of good weight. I have been gaining 2 pounds a week and managed to keep BF levels low, but I have a fast metabolism, most people opt for the 1 pound a week deal.
good luck and eat clean bro' and those 8-16 pounds will be quality muscle. looking forward to seeing your workouts and diet plans!

Good luck snow, I think now that you are counting calories you can give your body no choice but to gain weight.
oh yeah, that is the only bad thing about bulking, I am in the same boat as CP, in a month I currently get 13 gallons of milk, 12 dozens of eggs, 12 pounds of beef, 6 pounds of bagels, 4 big boxes of grape nuts cereal, 4 tubs of oatmeal and 4-6 cases of tuna.
I know this cause I keep a pretty anal account of my eating every day from week to week to keep my bulk as clean as possible, with the exception of cheat days LOL

lol, thanks for the motivation people. i bought a lot of spaghetti, tuna, rice, beef, chicken, milk, potatoes, and vegetables in the higher calorie range.
Had to work all day, so sometimes that limits what I eat, and how much :(
day one
Bowl of Cheese Ravioli
1 "Chickadilla" (small chicken/quesadilla thingy)
32 oz powerade
Michelina Mac & Cheese
3 c of 2% milk
1.5 c of brocolli/cauliflower
1 serving of cheese ravioli again
1 bowl peaches
1 chicken breast (w/sweet & sour)
.5 c rice
2 c of 1% milk
4 scoops weight gainer
1 c green tea
Lots of water
..1 more meal 2 go maybe, will edit. coulda done better 2day
day two
chicken caesar pita
24 oz sprite
decent sized doritos bag
.5 lbs sloppy joe
4 scoops weight gainer
1 banana
2 c of 1% milk
2 tbsp natty pb
2 pieces multi grain bread
1 cup of green tea
2 packages ramen noodles
2 c of 1% milk
weekly weigh in 180 [w/shoes & water weight]

:) just saying hehe I usually buy like, tuna, turkey, chicken, sweet potatos, brown rice, oatmeal, pb, cottage cheese, eggs, and some fruits and veggies and it runs me a lottttt more =\

.25 cup of juice plus

although i should be, from previously bulking, i've almost become a human fitday.com, so i have an idea of what's going in.
school starts w/work, hindering progress :(
day four
1.5 c of 1% milk
1 scoop whey protein
2 double cheeseburgers mcd's :rolleyes:
2 containers of yogurt
1 muffin
4/5 hard shelled tacos w/cheese
1 c or so of corn
4 c of OJ
2.5 c of 1% milk

Bologna, salami, turkey sandwich on multi-grain
5 mini-carrots
WEAK ASS DAY
day five

i suck.. but somehow i weighed more at gym this time
weekly weigh-in 181 [WITH NO SHOES + water weight]
