I've gotten bored of my current breakfast. I've been eating a slice of toast, 1/2 cup of egg white, and a glass of milk or oj everymorning for over a month. I'm sick of it. What do you all eat for breakfast or what do you suggest I eat as an alternative? I had oatmeal today and it wasn't so bad but I'm gonna go sick of that slop quickly as well. :micro:

I ususally just have a protein shake. Sometimes I'll also have a slice of toast or an egg if I'm really hungry.

eggies!! me and my eggs are inseparable in the morning.
my breakfast is a large omelet, 4 whites and 2 whole eggs with lots of goodies like veggies, ham and a smidgen of cheese plus topped with salsa, ketchup or low-fat sourcream. oatmeal is a good addition which i will occassionally add (depending on my diet).

Make sure you get some decent carbs in the morning, or your body will go into a catabolic state for energy.

A few different ones I tend to have, maybe this will give you ideas. I throw in whey with powdered milk sometimes also.
Breakfast 1 "Cereal with extra protein":
2 servings Kashi with 1 cup powdered milk
1 can of tuna
Breakfast 2 "Two Tuna Fish Sandwiches":
1 tbsp mayo
4 pieces of bread
1 can of tuna
2 boiled eggs
Breakfast 3 "Fried Eggs with Turkey Bacon":
3 Eggs
1/2 tbsp Olive Oil
3 Pieces of Bread
4-5 pieces of Bacon
etc..
Those tend to workout well, because they aren't excessively high in calories. I think the difficult thing is getting a good amount protein in the morning.

I just tried that this morning..it was tasty..i assume that you mean that you blended the raw oats in your shake like i did.

actually I think he meant he cooked the oatmeal and mixed in some milk and whey, but if not it tastes good that way as well ogrchamplin :) and some natty pb as well!
It's usually 1 cup oatmeal w/ splenda & 1 cup cottage cheese. If I have time it's scrambled eggs with lean ham and 2 slices of WW toast or an omelette.
