I would try to get more cals, possibly from carbs since they are your lowest macro.

Well if you're trying for a more balanced diet, then more carbs would be a good thing. If you find this to work well for you, then do it. I still think a few hundred more cals would do you some good though. Just my $.02

You know now that i think about it when i lost the first thirty pounds i was averaging 2600-2900 calories a day. Then i lost all that weight and dropped it to 2200-2400 trying to lose more and instead of losing more i stayed even.

Your metabolism probably slowed to a crawl.

At his bf%, I don't think a refeed would be helpful. Give it time, ogar, then you'll be needing those refeeds.:)

if his metabolism hascome to a screeching halt he may need to jump start again.. possibly eating at maintenance or so for a week, just a thought.

If he ups his cals he should be ok. However, that is still not a bad idea, maybe even 2.

I think your diet looks nice and clean Ogar. Don't worry about macros too much, and jsut concentrate on overall cals.

what is a refeed?

Refeed (if I'm wrong please correct)

Sorta stuffing your face for 1 day. Clean food. Eating more than your allotted cals. When you cut, sometimes you'll stall because the body doesn't want to give up any more fat. If you over eat for 1 day, you metablolism "settles down" and will let you burn fat again. The body loves fat and fights to burn it.

You probably don't need a refeed at this time. I think you may have cut your cals to quickly and your body thinks it's starving. I'd say increase like by 200-300 and see what happens for 2 weeks.

So its like a shock to the system to give it a kick in the ass? i will add the extra calories and see what happens

Pretty much. The body gets to a point where it just refuses to burn anymore fat and the refeeds play an important part in getting the body to burn fat. Usually this becomes more important as you start getting into the lower bf%. Not saying you can't do this at a high bf%, but more practical in the lower end, IMO.
