View Full Version : My daily diet, is it too many calories?

1 Bagel for breakfast

32 g protein bar for mid breakfast - lunch

Wrap for lunch, chicken, lettuce, tomato, salsa

1 35 g protein shake for mid lunch - dinner

Either Ham or Chicken for dinner with vegtables.

And a lot of water.

Not losing weight and doing a lot of cardio, any ideas?

Appears to be too little. A few words of advice.

1. A bagel is not a meal
2. A protein bar is not a meal
3. A protein shake (especially whey) is not appropriate unless it is pre/post workout.
4. Ham is so-so, but chicken is good. Vegetables are very good.

I'd use fitday.com to measure your calories and shoot for 12 * bodyweight every day. Get about 1g/lb of protein a day and look into getting some essential fatty acids (fish oil, flaxseed oil).

but you are probably not losing weight because your cals are way too low (your body thinks it's starving, which it probably is).
find your cals and then come back.
