First, this belongs in the diet section of the board. Second, yes it is a very good source of protein but try reading some posts or using the search function next time.

Skim milk is the best source of protein, instead of 1%, 2% and so on.

They all have the same amount of protein. Skim milk however, has less fat than whole milk, 2% and 1%. They all have 12-13 grams of lactose per cup also. They may sway some peoples definition of "good protein source".

Most of the fat in milk is saturated, not a very good source of fat.

Haha, I think it's so funny when people say "post this in the right section of the forums", when, it IS IN THE RIGHT SECTION! Can we all learn to read please?

Also, yes, Milk is a good source. Most of milks protein is cassein, and some whey. Cassein is a slower digesting protein. So after a workout, if i make a shake, i usually use water instead, so i can get it through faster. Any other time, I use milk though, cuz the Cassein suppossedly slows down the digestion.

Thats alright, as many times as justinasu has posted a "do research first" or "post in correct forum" post you know he would have to make a mistake just once... maybe...

Another notable thing about casien are its anti-catibolic properties, quite useful when cutting.

Ebu that's probably because it was in the wrong section and then moved by a moderator.

People generally jump all over fructose because it preferentially refills liver glycogen. Well, lactose, the sugar in milk, is broken down into glucose and galactose, and galactose, like fructose, preferentially refills liver glycogen. Just something to bear in mind.
