is this the same as losing weight and doin a normal diet..because if so its what i wud like to do and to keep up my muscle i will eat protein...how much wud be recommended for you 2 eat to keep muscle mass.

how much of each foods shud i be eating...say im doin 2000 calories in total

Well........I think a 40% of your daily cals should come from protein, 35% from carbs, and 25% from good fats. Umm, 1g of protein per/lb of bw or maybe a little more. I would start at 12* your bw and adjust your cals accordingly so that you're losing about 1lb per week. Drink tons of water, at least 1 gallon per day. I hope this is the awnser you're looking for.

so if im reading that right Jasonl about the protein, i shud have one gram per 1lb of my bodyweight, wudnt that be like 171 grams...sorry if im sounding dumb but i didnt get that about the protein

Yes sir, maybe a little more. You must be sure you drink tons of water though!
