We all know there are tons of stuff that you can take to decrease your appetite (amphetamines etc.)
But is there anything that will increase ones appetite? For some reason I don't have a big appetite and I literally have to focus and force my self to eat alot. I feel sick afterwards and its not fun to keep eating when your full.
I know THC increases appetite but ah is there any legal way... there has to be something... it would make things so much easier to put weight on.

how many meals a day do you eat. i notice that i get hungrier if i eat smaller meals, more often. so try matching the calories you're at, but increase the number of meals a day, try to eat every 3 hours and just eat a little bit less w/ each meal. of course, if you're already eating 5-6 times a day then what i just said is completely irrelevant. but if you're only having 3 meals a day, try and split them up and you will be getting hungrier as you're metabolism will also speed up.

Has anyone tried these pills? If they actually do make you hungry then they would be a godsend to skinny guys like me who have trouble eating alot.

Just an idea.....but have you tried to force yourself to eat for at least 1 week straight? I notice that if I suppress my appetite repeatedly for a week or so, it keeps getting easier to not eat like an animal.....when I decide to go back on a bulk, once I start eating like crazy for a few days straight, I find myself always starving.
Why don't you try to spread out your meals throughout the day and eat as much as you can at each meal, make sure you chew your food good, and avoid drinking a lot of fluid with each sitting. Stay away from crappy foods and beverages which will fill you up but not supply any nutritional value.
I guess it is kind of like training yourself how to eat.

exactly. spread the meals out and it will speed up your metabolism (as long as you eat clean), and you will get hungrier more often.

all of the b vitamins aid in the effectiveness of metabolizing fats, carbohydrates, and proteins. so, taking them will help w/ you're metabolism and as a result, you'll be hungrier.

getting really organized (if you're not already) can help get it all in
ie: timing meals and dividing the cals accurately

Your better off taking a good Multi-vitamin with a good Vitamin B complex in their like others say to help your metabolism. Vitamin B12 will also help your hunger i've heard too.
Listen, i've got the same problem as you with eating, its hard to eat when you feel sick and stuffed...My advice is, try some herbs...
Bitter herbs are known to help stimulate appetite. What you want is something that as well as inducing hunger, will decrease Satiety, that full and sick feeling you'll get so you can trick your body into eating more and more.
A few herbs known to do this would be Ginger Root, Gentian (this one seems promising), Wormwood, Hops extract, Echinacea Root Powder.
Why dont you get a few of the herbs I named, in powder form, and make your own capsules out of them? Mix the herbs up and Cap 'em, and take one 30minutes before a Meal, and see if you can stuff yourself more without that sick feeling.
I know this threads a little too old now, but maybe someone else might find this handy.

I don't know if you ever did try those pills. They seem pretty expenseive, @3 a day, $40 for a month supply...even less if you took 5-6 a day. I would be intersted in hearing whether or not they're worth anything.

I think it has been established here (WBB) that this is a fitness media myth and not true.

First question is what are you eating now? What is your daily caloric intake and what are you using to get there? Adding cals is normally easy. Nuts/fats add up really fast. Add peanut butter, olive oil, handful of nuts, and whole milk to everything you eat, and you can easily pack in alot more calories.

ya, your metabolism will boost relative to the calories. less meals that are larger means less frequent, larger metabolism boosts.

Dronabinol

Risperdal

From a mental asylum? I believe that the last two, well haldol anyways, is a very strong antipsychotic
As others have stated, people typically try using b vitamins and digestive enzymes to stimulate appetite. I know people who find it effective, but i personally do not. i'm sure it plays on placebo effect anyways lol. You may want to look into 'black hole', it's a new product designed to increase appetite. I looked into it a few weeks ago, but couldn't find any reviews on it (unbiased reviews). It's, this is a vague understandign, designed to work through similar pathways to pot. no ****.
