I am trying to cut so I was wondering if this is a good diet for cutting.

I weigh 191 lbs, 6 ft tall, 17 yrs old. Bodyfat around 13.

Protein=200 grams
Fat=45 grams
Carbohydrates=150 grams

Thats 1805 calories. And 44% protein, 22% Fat, 33% carbs. Of course this is a rough estimate but what do you think?

too low to just jump into.

make your base level 2000 and gradually work down to that level.

aim to lose about 1-2lbs a week.

if a week comes by when you lose nothing, reduce the cals slightly. it's a continuous process.

if you get to the stage where you're not losing with 2000 then drop below.

p.s. up the protein.

With 1800 I am able to maintain just fine. At 191 I may sound like a giant or something but I'm pretty small. 15 arms, 44 chest, etc. I have been using xenadrine too, so that probably has something to do with it, thanks for the heads up.

if you maintain fine on 1800 then why are you trying to cut with 5 cals over that?

If im wrong then.. i've been told you do not want to drop cals below 2000 for an average male, is that true?

personally i try to avoid advising people to do so - but you can only work with what you've been given.

like i stated early, i'd only suggest dropping that low of you're consuming 2000 and are not losing.

Who, me? I posted pics at Elite last year and was skinny. Since then I have put on muscle and became taller. I'm not lying. In a few months maybe I can post pics. If I were a liar I wouldn't tell you about how I can only bench about 170 lbs...etc.

It's weird how bodies vary so much. I weigh around 170 lbs and if I was eating 1800 cals a day I would shrink. I would probably drop down to 160 in weeks.

I am 17. Those "skinny" pics were on my 16th bday. The "fat ugly" pics were just before I turned 17. My bodyfat is about the same as int he first batch of pics, i'll have to buy a cheap digital cam so I can take pics soon.
