Throwing some inspiration your way. You're about my size when I got serious about bodybuilding, but you got a good 10 years on me from when I started.

Keep at it, stick with it, and don't be afraid to try new things. I'll look in on you from time to time.

Good attitude. Just remember that what works for one person may not work for you, and vice-a-versa. You'll have peaks and valleys in your progress, but learn from your mistakes and try to spin those into new opportunities based on your findings. Keep that mind open and always willing to learn, no matter how long you're at the game.

It's taken me a long time to get to 135 to 235, but if I can do it, it can be done. I'm certainly not the WBB typical posterboy. Good luck again.

185x8,8,8 (if anyone reads this: it felt like my shoulders got more of a workout tyring to hold the bar up than it did my legs. I tried moving the bar forward and as far back to where it was touching my throat and my shoulders were still keeping me from adding more weight. Any suggestions?)

hey man, about the front squats, try to keep your chest really poked out and contracted as well as your delts to have as good as possible resting spot for the bar. I had this problem at one point but just worked on it. do you do clean grip or cross hands? try clean grip i think that will help alot, the weight will be on your fingers more which can take it.

oh and sick as squats man.

i used to try cross grip, but that would pretty much murder my shoulders. Clean grip hurt my wrists at first, but i raised by elbows up more and let only 1 or 2 fingers stay under the bar so i wouldnt have to have all the digits being stretched. Try that, its a lot less stress on the wrist and thats how i do mine with little to no pain.

funny note: i worked out at a YMCA in minnesota today cuz I am visiting my girlfriend for the weekend and this guy that I literally have never seen nor met before comes up to me and says "the curls are getting better". i looked around to see if he was acutally talking to me or what. then he says "i did 90's for 4. i put some shoulder into it, but its still fun to do". Haha, some shoulder?!?! He swung the DB so far behind him it looked like he was ****ing bowling!! I just put my ear phones back in and went back to my lift.
