Brown rice, beans, cheese, whole wheat bread, milk, whole wheat pasta, eggs, potatoes.
all of the good whole foods are cheap, tuna, oatmeal etc, stay away from anything processed and you will be fine

someone should make a spreadsheet
brand/product/size/calories/price
so we could figure out what is the cheapest...(best/healthiest being irrelevant)

When I was in college training for Track my roomates Dad worked for Gordon food Services. He would get me 15 dozen eggs for 7 bucks. Would last about a week and a half. At least two meals a day were egs. It was awesome. He also got a lot of other food for real cheap.
Find a good friend!!!!!
Try out Sam's Club or Costco for eggs and chicken breasts, TUNA etc

Try to find tuna flakes instead of tuna steak/chunks
They are about 1/3 of the price compared to a normal can... Pretty disgusting texture thou, more like tuna slime..

Wish tuna sushi was as cheap as canned...I'd eat that any day.
