If you have the choice between a whey protein supplement and a mixed protein supplement of whey, egg and milk, most will soon choose the pure whey because of its faster absorbance. but is that really the best thing do you always want the fastest? and if so, how important is it?

what i learned is that if u just intake a whey protein shake it will not be absorbed by the body as much so whut works best is that u eat a meal after u work out with protein and carbs then about 10minutes later u take in the protein shake cuase ur body will be in a state of slowly breaking down the eaten protein and carbs so when u intake the whey protein it will be absorbed better.
