rice vs. oatmeal

doesnt oatmeal have more fiber than rice? That would be an advantage that I would see with it.

I know brown rice has more fiber I think its 4 grams per serving but not to sure about plain white rice. Plain Oatmeal has about 2 - 3 grams per serving. If thats any help.
