biking? the one where u cansit straight up and ride ;-)
I have knee probs which prevents me from doing a lot of cardio including running, elliptical, etc. The only one I can do without any aggrivation is the stairmaster machines. They give me one helluva sweat though.

I agree wit geoff swimming is officially the best low impact cardio and may be the best cardio overall...

Biking is pretty good since it keeps your knees in good shape also

I've got lower back problems and both biking and swimming feel great. I'd recommend those two. Running and walking are bad, and I'd imagine rowing would be bad also.

rowing would be terrible with a weak back.... especially if you didn't know what you were doin as a lot of people don't who sit on a rowing machine
