I've seen many food items with nutritional value that reads something like this:

Carbs: 27
Fiber: 2
Sugar 4
Other Carbs: 21


What are those other carbs? :confused:

if you see that on protein bars and such, it also usually indicates glycerol, i think....

Yep, they are complex carbs

On a protein bar they would say glycerol which has a calorie value of 4.21 cal. per gram I think but protein bars suck anyways so feed them to your neighbors

I believe too that you're talking about protein bars.When you read the nutritional value and notice that it has too many "other" carbs,leave the bar in the box..

I can't exactly remember where I've seen it. I think it was on a cereal box or something that I had.
