It has been a long time since i've been back to WBB, new name, new journal. I will not disclose my former name b/c that identity is a thing of the past and the past is of no use in the future *pretty deep eh*

Teh training
This month's flavor is some periodization, i was doing some PL stuff, but dieting and 1RMs are not entities that like to cohabitate.

Teh diet
Carb Cycling TP Style
I'm running his lifestyle program, basically so i can have one day to eat whatever carb i want, this day is strategically placed on friday nights so i can have an adult beverage or two if i so desire and enjoy junk carbs once a week. The layout *starting with monday* is high-no-low-no-high+-no-low.

Cardio
starting this hard next week, my superstar athlete best buddy is designing me a running program for the summer, complete with HIIT and endurance intervals...yippee!

Supplements
i use a lot of them, mostly xtreme formulations, avant labs and BSL

Random whatchamacalits
another school year is done, one more year for the BA, then some grad school. No competing planned for any period of time, i have neither the desire nor the time to contest diet. Since i have had zero motivation...i will be competing with my good friend G-money on a summer cut/recomp.

good luck on the journal :)

Joto...gracias ;)

On with the cool stuff!

Diet
High Carb day
M1-2 oatbran pancakes, 1/2 cup pineapple, 1/2 cup cochee
M2-low carb protein cookie
M3-4oz ground beef, 1oz cheese, 1 low carb tortilla, 5 strawberries, 12oz red potatoes
M4-4oz ground beef, 1 low carb tortilla, 5 strawberries, 4oz spaghetti, 1/2 cup spaghetti sauce
M5-8oz ground turkey, 1oz cheese

Supplements
20mg M1 test
1 cap sesathin M1 and M5
1 serving GO
1 serving Kreataine ultra

Training
smith machine front squats 135x7, 155x5, 175x3
deep squats 275x7, 295x5, 315x3
box squats 14" box 185x7, 205x5, 225x3
seated calves 90x15, 135x15, 180x10
standing calves 195x10, 245x10, 285x10
sldl 275x7, 295x5, 315x3
leg curls 140x7, 160x5, 180x3

abs
rope crunches 100x25, 120x25
side bends 60x10, 70x10
roman chair sit-ups +25x25

random whatchamacalits...diet was pretty tight, i'm not really gonna count numbers this week just to see how i feel after each day and see just how self regulating my body is in regards to satiety and what not. Training was good, obviously my squat poundages are punk ass, but i needed to tighten up form so i will get the numbers back up pretty quick. Before anyone asks, i am doing the front squats in the smith because i can have my feet out front and i feel more stress on the quads.

Welcome back, dude. Workouts as always look solid as does the diet.

Good luck with the competition with g-money. Doesn't much matter which of you wins, I know you'll both look awesome at the end. :)

What a ****ing week...i started working at UPS wednesday night, turns out i'm allergic to cardboard dust, so i spent thursday in the hospital getting my respiration back, good thing i like shots. So needless to say that i am not working there, went back to the golf course plus the city clerk wants me to work part time for her crunching numbers and being a pretty boy secretary.
Today was the first time i have trained since tuesday, needless to say my diet has totally sux0red, so i will try to tighten that up this weekend and get back at it hard on monday.

Tuesday
Narrow preacher curls 65x7, 85x5, 105x3
Wide grip preacher curls 45x7, 65x5, 85x3
Hammer curls 30x7, 35x5, 40x3
Palms up alt. db curl 25x7, 30x5, 35x3
concentration curls 25x7, 30x5, 35x3
cgbp 185x7, 205x5, 225x3
tricep dips +45x7, +90x5, +135x3
pushdowns 80x7, 90x5, 100x3

Today
bench 225x7, 245x5, 265x3
inclines 185x7, 205x5, 225x3
incline db press 70x7, 80x5,90x3
flat flyes 30x7, 45x5, 55x3
pec deck 160x7, 180x5, 200x3

I'm gonna deadlift tomorrow and start up the cardio on monday i think, plus try to hit the abs 3x/week.

Hey Pete...not really bro, i'm doing the summer cut with Chris just to give him some motivation, but other than that i just don't care to be on stage until i'm carrying enough LBM to be competitive as a light heavy...being around 170lbs is just teh suck.

ElPietro
05-07-2004, 01:34 PM
I meant plift, thought you were training for that.

Leprechaun
05-07-2004, 01:42 PM
Ah yea...i'm doing one of those in december...i'm running a periodization thing over the summer just to be leaned up and have the abs out...but probably do something more specific come the winter...just depends on how my joints are and all of that.

galileo
05-08-2004, 09:41 AM
Getting my puppy has probably made things equally as difficult, but I still managed to pwn this week with -1% loss.

Saint Patrick
05-08-2004, 11:39 AM
Damn Rob, our lifts are all pretty close all around......225 on close grip and +135 dips are ace.

How are you liking the M1T?

Leprechaun
05-10-2004, 07:25 AM
G-money...nice work, you are ahead of me then...cause my diet was teh suck after midweek...that'll change though

Patty...i like the M1, the water retention can kiss my ass, but i do enjoy the strength increases.

Leprechaun

Diet
1285kcals
didn't do ratios, don't feel like it

Training
front squats 155x7, 175x5, 195x3
deep squats 285x7, 305x5, 325x3
box squats 225x7, 245x5, 265x3
standing calves 285x10, 305x10, 325x10

3 scoops GO
4g fish oil

comments...i remember why i hate severe calorie depletion...come 7 or 8 at night i want to chew on one of my thighs. Training was fine, squat poundages are just silly weak, but i'm going to make myself slowly build it back up to ensure my adductors and abs can stabilize the weight.

JustinF

Leprechaun
05-11-2004, 07:38 PM
Hmm...moron would indicate a lack of mental acumen, i doubt you can even define acumen without some help from webster, so go back to training without socks to determine the number of reps you did in a set cause i'm so far out of your league we aren't even on the same planet.

WillKuenzel
05-11-2004, 08:07 PM
I'm at least a bit more grammatically inclined. :p About acumen, hmmm, I might not know exactly what the true definition is but it might be something towards smarts, wisdom, intellect, or a whole host of other synonyms of such. Now go back to lifting your tiny weights.

I do carry an abacus because people have complained about me lifting without socks.

Leprechaun

*Sigh*

seeing that cutting season is upon me once again *doin the xtreme formulations challenge thingy* i might as well start putting **** in here.

Some updates:
1. i've suffered through 4 different injuries this summer, so my training is a lot different than it used to be

2. my diet is pretty basic nowadays, nothing really fancy, not getting caught up in everything being clean...bottomline, i'm still going to eat my steak and hot dogs, just not as often as i would be during a bulk

3. i start school in 2 weeks...that whole career thing has been insane lately, no real clue what i want to do with my life as i've been through some ****, but i will be graduating in may and may follow my buddy isaac to charleston.

4. Don't laugh at my puny weights you bastards...that is all.
