One of the best after hours clubs in Portland is in China Town and it's called Hung Far Low's - great place to sober up and really funny souvenier t-shirts.

Judy Svercheck trains with the Spokane Monster Muscle Crew. At 140 pounds bodyweight, she recently competed at the APF Washington State Championships and she benched 300 and deadlifted 500!

Kara Bohigian has the highest total in the history of the women's 148 class. I got to see her lift again at the 2003 GNC Show of Strength and she squatted 550, benched 374 and deadlifted 484!

There are a lot of women powerlifters who are really impressive. One of Monster Muscle's goals is to get more women involved in the sport, as powerlifting builds confidence and strength.

How tall are these guys who weight 114?

The men in the 114 class are usually between 5' and 5'4.

The women in the 114 class are usually between 4'10 and 5'2.

There are really lean women though, who are taller than 5'2 and in the 114 class.

Just like in boxing or wrestling, the 132 class and below is usually full of shredded competitors.
