View Full Version : Cutting intake formula?

sorry to be lazy, but what is it, i finally understand diet now I think but I need to find out how much intake I should do....im at fitday and ive put in everything I eat and I was gonna work it out by finding my average then dropping 15% for my intake but i must be doing sumthin wrong because it says i only eat 1089 cals.

im 17, 168 lbs

not quite sure what exactly your question is?
but if your asking what amount of calories you should be getting then perhaps you might wanna read this article, its pretty helpful in designing a cutting diet

Start at bodyweight x 12 (2016 for you) after a couple of weeks:

a) if you're losing less than 1-1.5 lbs per week reduce cals by 200
b) if you're losing more than 1-1.5 lbs per week increase your cals a bit

keep going until you reach the desired weight or BF%

without seeming dim, will i lose weight just from the diet or from cardio aswell?

i plan to do 3 x 30 minutes a week of it

you can lose with diet only, cardio will help though
