Anybody see the Lakers/Spurs game last night? Wow. I usually don't stay up for the games, and I'm paying the price for it this morning, but wow. That was awesome. Spurs come back from 16 points down in the fourth quarter. Two lucky shots, one by each team in the closing seconds. Tim Duncan was smothered and finally just tossed up an off balance fadeaway from a bit past the free throw line and it goes! .4 seconds left. Yes, .4, not 4. Then on the other end of the court on the inbound, Kobe and Shaq were both tied up, Fisher gets the ball and throws it up, and it goes.
Shaq summed it up best, "One lucky shot deserves another."
I don't usually post on topics like this, but it was one of the best finishes I've ever seen. :)

God, that was an amazing game. I'm not a huge basketball fan, but my roommates went absolutely nuts (LA fans).

Man, both Duncan and Fisher were so incredibly lucky with their shots. Something like that is such a rare occasion. I felt sorry for the Spurs, lol.

Unfortunately didn't catch much of the game.
I did see the highlights, and it was indeed a great finish.

Don't think fisher's shot was very lucky... he's a good shooter and he just broke free. I give MAD props to Payton for that play though... The real play was to get it to kobe for either a shot or a lob and tip from shaq. There were NO more Timeouts left and he made the EXTREMELY hard play of giving fisher the ball. Getting payton involved was the best thing Phil could have ever done for the Lakers.

yep Fisher is a good shooter
the jump stop was perfect because he was turning around before he even caught the ball
he was able to catch, land and then jumping with a half turn he was square to the basket
