On my regular weight training days (40 mins ? 400 calories burned) i drink a shake pre and post training that totals to the following;

Pre Workout Shake (306.5 cals, 2.4g fat, 33g pro, 40.05g carbs)
Post Workout Shake (506 cals, 3.2g fat, 44g pro, 78.4g carbs)

Now my question would be, should i drink this same amount for the days i do cardio? or should i perhaps just drink lower the carb intake post workout to enhance my cardio/fat loss session...

i feel that im using the post shake as a bulking shake when i do cardio! lol.

Lower the carb amount on your cardio day by half. Of course this would also depend on the difficulty of each session.

You're cutting?

That amount of pre/post cals seems high for someone who's cutting.

To answer your question, I wouldn't suggest the shakes on cardio days.

Unless that's high intensity cardio, you should be having protein + fat after, no carbs.
