View Full Version : Post workout; Adjust dextrose with sucralose

I am trying to rework my post w.o. shake as i have baught a new protein powder that contains sucralose. I prefer to stick with this brand as it gives little or no bloating/gas.

I have calc, my post w.o shake to be 15g(1tb) dextrose + 15g(1tb) maltodextrin + 25g(1scoop) protein. But the since the protein powder contains sucralose (18mg/scoop), i wanted some suggestions in adjusting the dextrose to compensate.

FYI my stats: H:6', w:163, bf:23%, lbm:125lb

I don't think 18 mg of sucralose would make much of a difference in your post workout shake.

Sucralose is sugar replacement (think Sweet 'n Low)...don't confuse it with sucrose which is table sugar.

18 mg is not even 1 calorie
