Hey guys! What's up? Well, I am wondering if I am taking enough protein. I am using ALN's Nitrean. I take 1 serving twice a day in about 12 ounces of skim milk. That yields about 60g protein. Now, I weigh around 160 lbs. Do you think that I am taking enough protein? Should I be taking more? Thank you.

Is that all the protein you're getting in a day? Nitrean is just a protein supplement. It's like asking if 1 piece of chicken is enough protein for the day. It depends on your goals. You should at least be getting 1 gram per pound of body weight from various sources (i.e. chicken, lean beef, fish, etc.). There is not minimum requirement for how many shakes you should have in a day. IT'S JUST A SUPPLEMENT.

I understand that shakes are just protein supplements. I am unsure of how many grams of protein I am taking in a day from my food. I was just wondering if you think it is possible or normal that i would consume about 100g-110g of protein through my food in one day. I was just wondering if maybe I should start doing two scoops instead of just one.

I get upwards of 200g of protein thru food alone in my diet. It's totally possible to meet your protein requirements by way of whole food. Supplemental shakes are beneficial surrounding your workouts, or if you think you need the added protein because you cannot meet your requirements thru food.
