Just got a tooth pulled but so far no pain. If this continues i'll be doing close stance good am's tomorrow with the green/average bands.

Tomorrow will probly be closegrips with lights doubled, either full ROM or board press.

Seriously though; have you posted the diet you used for the transformation? I reckon it would be instructive for many. Hell I wouldn't mine pirating the best bits from it myself.

The diets in here a couple times. Right now i dont have a 'set' diet but i still come very close to this just with more calories.

Good am's were great. The bands felt to give approx. 200lbs at top and over 100 at bottom. The 205 was ME throughout the whole rep.
Partials were beyond heavy! I've done 650lbs hold without chalk no problem but this was much much heavier. Just the bar+bands felt to be over 400.
Weight today 186 still trying to gain back the couple lbs i lost when the took thee tooth.

The malto is just carbs. Its like dextrous only a complex carbohydrate.

Bad news about pei. Tom N. isn't holding the meets anymore. And so far noone else has got up too take his place.

Whoa! Bench today was great, ive now surpased my alltime PR of 250x4.

Good am's were fun as usual. Bands added ~270lbs at bottom 350~ at top. The 165 was by far my slowest good am ever.

And as far as how much weight the bands add im just using the #'s from the 'band manual' from elitefts.com
at the bottom it doesnt feel that heavy but the top tension number seems fairly accurate.

The good ams with bands had an unimaginable amount of tension. At lockout it felt like ~500lbs!
Reg good am's were awesome too. I was going to do 3 triples(thought that would be hard) But the weight went up like it wasnt on the bar. Last set wasn't failour but pretty damn close.

Was LMAO today at someone squatting, or should i say knee bending. There rom was 7~8" and they were looking around to see if people were impressed. Only had 225 on it too.

chains felt nice. BIG difference to bands. with bands they pull the weight down but with the chains theres no added eccentric force. So with chains it feels like straight weight at the bottom of the ROM but as you go up it feels like your pushing through something as it keeps getting heavier.
Only problem is that as of know i cant leave the chains at the gym and there to heavy to carry in easily. There definatly fun though.

did all the stuff in 65 mins, by the end of it i was sweating so bad that i freaked myself out:eek:

lol, rough night??
well, i had an appointment at the bank at 2.30pm. I had last night off so i went to be early 3.00am. didnt fall asleep until 10.30 then slept thru my alarm and woke up at 5.30pm. i was pissed. resumes going out tommorow for a new job.

Bench was sweet today! 135 even felt heavy, as did 185. I figured i'd play it safe and get a spotter for 225 because of how heavy 185 felt. First 2 reps were heavy then bam, got in a perfect groove and just kept going. 8 wasn't even 100%failor.

Was talking to a guy today and he was telling me about his freind, said he was 146 and could dead 550. At first i was skeptical but i asked his name and i lifted in a meet 2-3 years ago with his freind. Back then he was 150ish with over 500 dead so i completely beleived him after that.
back to training 'normal' in ~1 week.

well, i was pissed at my car with all of its problems for too long. Today i went out and bought a 2001 kia sephia. You might be saying to yourself, 'That car sucks!' and i agree:) It was 4900 canadian and only had 68,000km's (45,000miles), so i still got some warranty and i have it financed out to 135/month for 48months. My father bought the lumina from me for just over 1300(i owed him 1700) So now im paying 135/month for a pretty new car, i like this.

Whoa! I've always been pretty weak with the 'wider' grip but that wasnt the problem today. Everything up to 185 felt really, really heavy.
No more sleeved shirts while working out! Wore one today and it wasn't hot for the first 20mins, then after bench the heat hit. Cut the workout shorter then planned cause of the heat/sweat.

Buddy benched 315 today so i had to beat him. So what if it was an easier lift;)
Finally slept good last night! Felt great today. 12 hours sleep, but the last few weeks has been 4-5 hours a night.
and they were no siut or wraps, the squats and deads.

bench felt strong today from doing the empty bar all the way up to the 265. The 225 set i was going as fast as possible and misgroved the 5th rep.
and diets still pretty ****ty(probly 1700-2000cals/day) and sleep is still horible. I really hope i get the job at gnc.

25 months old?
well, the original court date was for 11months after the ticket, which is still long. Then 2-3days before that date i had my accident so it got postponed again. I'm just hoping the cop won't show up now.
Skinny - I'd just pay the fine now but a cop i know said i have to go since i pleaded not guilty, at the time of pleade i didnt have much money and was in shool. now i have a day of lost wages and i have to travel to antigonish(2.5hours) to fight it.
lost the fight w/the ticket.
Now cause of that i've got 2 days of missed work, 100$ of gas, insurance rises, and ticket was almost $400. And to top it off my licence is suspended for a week.
Got my ETS on monday but im going to wait until things are sorted out before i use it.
My **** sleep cycle continues. ****in 5 hours a night.
was going to gym it tomorrow but i didn't start to recover yet from friday. Back and tits still hurt. Today was almost 2,000cals.

Started takin ETS yesterday. I woke up this morning with only 5 hours sleep but it felt like 9. I slept untill 8 hours but it was tough, i felt too refreshed. Im not sure if this is a coincidence or ets?

good am's were pretty cool today. 225 felt relatively heavy so i stuck on a 25a side. first 2 trys at 275 i moved it ~10". It pissed me off that i could move it and not complete the rep, i gave it another go this time i did my pre-good am ritual(its weird, i look like im having a seizer:D) Then did it 'easy'. after that i was going to call it a day then i said **** it and went 285. Felt like 99%ME. After i got that i went 300 but my body was completely shot.
sldl with wide grip were fun, really felt it in my rear delts.
Doms is unreal right now, the quicker i get it the better though, and thats with 4 hours sleep last night.
My mood is really good right now, ill have to ask chris or dan if its related to ets.

Legs were sore after squats, mainly the quads. Bi isertation point was quite soar by end of workout, must've hurt it doing deads.
But, found my dead form so im happy:D
For reference: bar ~2" from tibia, touches shin when i bend over.
Forgot to add. My rotators had wicked doms the last 2 days. Feels different but cool
ETS effect - Most people have reduced doms, i have increased doms but it comes quicker and leaves a ton quicker. Usually if my diets going great with a surplus of cals this same effect happens, so i can say this does in fact speed up my recovery.

im back to doing my cut/bulk:D basicly hasve my cals a bit lower then amr for my meals except around workout where i jack them up.
Last time i put on muscle while simultanuosly(sp??) losing fat. My weight slowly increased while getting leaner, i loved it.

nice job on the zerchers, I just started them so hopefully I'll catch up! they feel awesome on the legs.. how long are you taking between sets?
it varies alot on the day for me, for ex. speed sets i only rest 20-40secs, ME reps are done 3mins apart, and regular sets the rest is usually 2mins for an isolation movement and 3-5 mins for a compound.

well, im tired. Didn't sleep yesterday(well, 45mins:D) and i dropped off 36resumes. Already had one call for an interview so i should be out of the security job soon! The job i got called for is min wage 40hours a week but that means i have nights free(now i can try bouncing) and i will have fridays and saturdays off! Right now im making min wage so no difference in that aspect.

I was looking at the the records for the 132 class;)
to attain f/t employ as a sec gaurd (no locations listed)
went to a college yesterday and liked it, probly going to attend there come feb. It would go till nov.24. Im still going to apply for police academy in may. if i get in that would start jan 2006. Id still have time to graduate from this college. Its a Corrections and Policing course.
Had the job interview today. Went ace. I got the job and 'can' start monday but ill probly wait a week to get **** staightend out. Ill be working 60+ hours a week so my wbb time will be reduced dramiticly.
On the physical part of the interview i aced it. 25 full chins in 30 secs, 40 pushups in 40 secs. I think that helped me alot in gettiing hired on t he spot.
They have a little gym in the office thats open 24hours. Its got the essentials th ough. Powerrack!!!! and a kickass becnh.
So it looks like my life will be ****in hecktic for 2+ years to come. It WILL pay off in t he long run though.
I just have to workout my finances now then it will be confirmed th at im going.

Yeah, the chins were crazy. It was funny cause they had me 2nd last and everyone else got 2-5 and the guy after me barely broke staright arm lol (he was 5'6 300lbs)

Tim - you can raid my fridge, just not my freezer, thats where i keep the chicken and bars.
TTT - Its not so much that high reps make me passout, its more a factor of not breathing correctly(im only used to doing under 6reps) and i have a very very good ability to strain. Like on a heavy set i don't feel pain, tired ness, or anything. So by the time 20reps come my body should tell me to quit but it doesn't.(well, i don't listen to it:p)

right now im doing a bastardized westside split. 'usually' its cardio/weights/cardio/weights etc and i lift using the me/de method. Im moving in a few weeks so my life will get alot easier and i can go back to doing full westside.
i was going to do my walk but i figured that it may somehow aggrevate the back. sooooo...
level 10 30mins@85-105rpm heartrate was 170-175
i did a 'sprint' at the end and i hit 124rpm
weight 184, looking a bit bigger/leaner too.
I had a bunch of peeps asking me to check there form today doing lifts(when i was volunteering) it made the day better.

good am's pin3 with ave&strong bands barx5 very tough!! 95x3felt the same 135x3 tried for 4 but i got ~2" then the super rgavity took over(aka bands) and i heard a big fookin boom! lol

I just saw this post at anoth board and liked it so i thought i would post it.
"First off, I use a bench shirt in competition and yes it is very awkward. I was used to benching a certain way, and once I started benching in the shirt, it's as if I had to learn a whole new method of benching. If you really think about it, the bench press is not really a true "bench press" anymore. First off, you need strong lats to lower the weight in a controlled manner, then all you need to do is touch the bar to your upper abs, then the shirt acts as a spring at the bottom of the lift from the chest to the half way point, and then you need strong shoulders to stabilize the weight, and strong triceps to actually lock it out. So a powerlifting bench press really isn't a test of chest strength anymore; it's all about how well you have mastered your bench shirt. Unfortunately bench shirts are used in pretty much every federation these days, including those bloddy triple ply custom fit demin shirts in a few. Personally, I'm against the bench shirts. However, since all my competitors are using them, I am as well. If you are a competitive powerlifter, I would say yes to getting a bench shirt, simply for the fact that they are legal and everyone uses them. If you just bench press to work your chest and gain size and muscle mass, then I'd say no to a bench shirt."

Just wanted to add that im the cheapest drunk in the world(with the exception to my mother) i had 5 drinks and after 3 i was pretty ****ed, when i finished tye 5th i was realllly reallly ****ed.
Now it 6 hours since the first and im still pretty trashed. This rules cause im poor lol
