I havent been to the gym in a week. Im one of those scardy cats who thinks if I dont use a gym, Ill get fat. So as of now, Im doing low-carb to lose fat. But my question is, which plan is better between these two. My goal is from June 11th-September 3rd to get a lean, built body. It doesnt matter if its bulky built, or cut built. I just want to be lean, lose fat-build up muscle tone and all that. Here are my two plans:
Plan 1: TKD
Wake up and have protein shake or meal with no carbs
Walk an hour or so on the treadmill
Have low-carb breakfast
2 hours later consume for protein
2 hours later for lunch, protein plus little carbs (30-50g of carbs)
Workout for 45 minutes-then do cardio for 20 minutes
Another protein shake with carbs
2 hours later more protein
2 hours later more protein
2 hours later more protein
Dinner-low carb
Walk an hour or so on treadmill
Sleep

Plan 2: Muscle building-lean
Wake up and have protein shake or meal with little carbs
Walk on treadmill for 45 minutes or so
Have breakfast-high protein
2 hours later, more protein
2 hours later more protein
Lunch-protein, carbs-anything.
1 hour later, workout for 45 minutes, THEN do HIIT cardio
Protein shake
2 hours later more protein
2 hours later more protein
Dinner
Before bed, more protein
Sleep

Both these diets may seem the same. But the first one is more cardio, low-carb for fat-loss, but trying to retain muscle. The second one is LESS cardio and consuming anything for more muscle gain, but losing SOME fat. So which looks better? Any input would help. Thanks.

Hard to say without knowing the protein/carbs/fat breakdown of everything...have you looked into UD2.0 at all?

Well you have a choice.

1. loose weight and gain very little muscle
2. Gain weight and gain a lot of muscle and a little fat.

choose one

If your trying to loose weight, you won't be gaining much lean body mass.
