I eat a can of tuna plain every day about 10:00 AM. Most of the time I feel like I have some acid reflux going on and today I even burped and got a little extra with it :drooling:
Anyone else have this ? Also is their something I could eat with it to stop this
Thx

Prevacid is an acid reflux drug that recently has had an OTC (over the counter) version released. If u truly are having acid refulx, and not indigestion then it might be something to consider.

I have acid reflux so bad ive had surgery on my esaphagus once and need it agian to the point i have to crush or open all my supps (unless they are asprin size) . i can tell you i dont have the problems with tuna you are having. i eat it with lettuce alot or at the same meal i have cottage cheese. But dont have the problem eating it plain. If yours is that bad you need some medicine. It sucks to let it get so bad you get stuff stuck in your throat ! And yes most supps are absolutly terrible when broke up!

The wierd thing is that I don't have it happen with any other food... EVER , just with tuna.

are you eating the tuna dry (as in squeezing the water out of the can?

I would get some reflux if I ate it this way, now I try to leave as much of the water in the tuna as I can stand and it has helped the reflux. that and drinking non fat milk with the tuna.
