Ok, I just took a gamble tonight and took my measurements again. These gains are from january first until february fifteenth.
I gained two inches around the chest- half an inch around biceps, two inches across shoulders, and a whole inch around my forearms. Unfotrunately, I gained half an inch around hte waist...snif..
No growth in either the thighs or the calves...damn shame too cuz those squats hurt!
I can see the development of my lats and shoulders most of all, but my biceps and triceps remain my tough spots.

Sounds like you are doing quite well. It surprises me that you grew in the upper body but did not in the lower. Maybe you need to focus a little harder on your leg exercises. Try breathing squats for the legs, I bet they will do you right.

Just out of curiousity what did you train the day you took your measurements or the day before. I'm no expert but it is best to take measurements in the morning (no food) and after a couple of days off from the weights. Follow this each and every time you do measurements and you will have consistent measurements. I don't mean to rain on your parade but following this will save you frustration as well when you see your measurements vary a great deal.
The reason I say this is that 1 full inch on your forearms in one month strikes me as an aweful lot (especially for not isolating them) Something to remember about calves and forearms is that they get alot bigger from just being engorged with blood.
Keep up the good work.
Cheers

The day before I had done legs and triceps.
Oh- and I did isolate the forearms once a week.
WTF are breathing squats?

Breathing squats are basically taking a weight you could normally squat about 10 times. Then you squat the weight 20 times, don't stop until you get 20. You should be taking at least 3 deep breaths inbetween reps. These will knock you on your ass!
