i made homemade ice cream with my family last weekend. got me thinking - i could make this, but replace most of the cream with lite olive oil (so no taste) and most of the sugar with sucralose - would make it pretty good food, and cheaper than store stuff. anyone ever try something like this?

This isn't for the purists out there, but I used to make "ice cream" with cottage cheese, sugar-free/fat-free vanilla pudding mix, natty PB, a little water, and a whole tray of ice cubes in the blender. It would get really thick, and I'd eat it with a spoon like ice cream. Pretty tasty too. I'd eat this before bed every night.
I forgot to mention, but have a good blender. This got pretty thick for me, and I burned out a cheap blender in about two weeks.
