06-24-2004, 11:37 AM
Thanks for the support guys!!!! Leg day Today!!!! woohooo!!!

06-25-2004, 12:31 PM
Ok Leg Day Thursday June 23rd 2004 Weight 211lbs

For About Two Weeks I Have Had This Nagging Lower Back Pain, Rene Swears Its Cause I Tried To Deadlift 410lbs Too Soon. I Hate To Admit It But Hes Prolly Right. So Anywho's, I Did My Best And Ignored The Pain...but I Think I Will Take A Few Weeks Off Of The Sldls And Squats To Let The Lower Back Get Back To Normal.

Squat 185x12, 225x10, 275x10, 315x6
Leg Press 400x10, 490x10, Skipped The Third Set Cause The Back Was Hurting.
Leg Ext 200x12 Then Went To One Legged Ext 130x10, 160x8
Leg Curl 110x10, 130x10, 160x8

Now For All Of You Out There Having Ever Experience And Annoying Back Pain, I Shouldnt Have To Explain The Seriousness Of Not Injuring The Back Further. So I Will Continue To Lift And Just Not Do Sldls Or Squats For Two Weeks And Give It Some Time To Heal.

By The Way Kudos To Teufelhund Who Had A Remarkable Second Leg Day For The Week. And Yes Rene Also Broke Some Records As Well. His Squat Is Progressing Very Well. Good Job Rene!

06-25-2004, 12:44 PM
Of course I'm right. Cabron! Glad you've decided to take it easy on the back. Props to you for sucking it up. When it comes to back, though, don't. I officially do solemnly swear not to give you sh!t about lower back movements until you're healed.

That comment about anything touching your ass and your body putting out though is fair game. :p

06-25-2004, 10:32 PM
Hey DevilDog welcome to journal land. I've heard about your lifts previously, very impressive!!! Looks like the bulk is treating you well, no doubt you'll be giving jotohound a definite run for the money.

06-25-2004, 10:48 PM
Thanks rookie, I will take all the support I can get lifting with these guys!!!

06-26-2004, 09:16 AM
Of course I'm write. Cabron!

06-26-2004, 09:33 AM
Hey Rene nice grammar....mr p.h.d.

06-26-2004, 10:57 AM
LMAO, I was reading your journal and caught my mistake. That wouldn't be a grammatical error. It would be a spelling error. This phenomenon is well documented in my journal and others. I call it homonym dyslexia. :p

06-26-2004, 04:42 PM
This penomenon is well documented in my journal and others. I call it homonym dyslexia.

lol! Joto, just because you made up some fancy schmansy term for your "penomenon" doesn't mean you're not a moron. :moon:

06-26-2004, 04:53 PM

06-27-2004, 09:39 AM
bah. yoo'll nevar ketch me makeing misteaks, joto. Give up now.

You had an awesome leg day as well, DD! 315x6 is a great squat set even without a hurt back. I hope the back heals quickly man. Rest it up. You'll be needing it later.

06-27-2004, 06:32 PM
Yep...in all the insult slinging I completely forgot to complement you on a most kickass leg day.

06-27-2004, 08:10 PM

07-07-2004, 09:53 PM

Overall it was an awesome week. I hope the next weeks are just as good. I think KC is a lil worried about me catching up on some of the lifts. I am closing the gap. See yall next week.

LOL, I've been worried for a while now dude. I'm going to hate to see you go. I was looking forward to watching you become freakishly muscular. I don't think I would have had to wait too long, either.

It took me YEARS to get to 315 for reps on the bench press. in 6 months you've gotten to where I was after over 2 years of training. Your legs are growing faster than the national debt. Shoulders? Give it another month or maybe two and you'll prolly at least match me in strength. I'm serious man. You have terrific potential.

And I better not find out you've been slacking after you move away. When you come back, I want it to take me a second before I realize who it is I'm looking at. You're going to have to start posting more often so we can keep in touch.

07-30-2004, 01:01 PM

and with that out of the way.....:spam:

07-30-2004, 01:25 PM
It has been brought to my attention by a certain nancy boy<Teufelhund> that you may not appreciate the fact that I screamed the word "Fag " In your journal becasue you don't know me....Well that is my way of inducting you as a member of my brotherhood as you are a friend of Thunds<Gary> and Rene<Ace>.. so are a friend of mine..

However if you still take offense you can take a swing at me when I get there on Sept 10th .. I warn you though I am trained in projectile bleeding and will most assuredly ruin your clothing.

07-30-2004, 01:27 PM
Dude. For the LAST TIME. I am not Gary!

I'm Ace.

07-30-2004, 01:29 PM
And I look forward to witnessing birthday bloodshed on the 10th! :D

Thanks guys!

07-30-2004, 01:33 PM
Fine I will bleed AND BARF on you ....Happy barfday..

07-30-2004, 04:14 PM
LOL, KC you're Gary no matter how big you get.

Jonathon, I echo some to KC's sentiment. Your progress is incredible. You better make sure that when I get back into town, you can make it back to Houston for session. Good luck with your new endeavours.

08-02-2004, 06:40 AM
Definitely. Just in the time I've been here your progress has been phenomenal, and there's actually visible and noticeable increases in LBM. It's gonna suck a lot when you leave. Who's gonna keep KC's ego in check?

with that said. Post dammit!

I declare a

Oh we haven't had a old fashion DOGPILE in a while.

08-02-2004, 08:37 AM
you guys crack me the f*** up. I will miss thw work outs with you guys..and have no fear I will be bigger the next time you see me after I move. I believe I owe alot to you guys for the support and for putting up with me. Thanks Guys!

And Nevermore-on the fag issue....I think that including the word fag and talking of a brother hood is probably as gay as they get...so with that said yeah Ill be your friend...but as far as the brother hood of fag membership...you keep it. And as far as taking a swing at you...if I wanted to i would hit you so fast and hard that your blood would be stunned for a few seconds allowing me to dodge the stream of blood that i assure you will definately follow...but since I am a nice guy I will just pick apart your every flaw and weakness and exploit then and put it on display for the world...take care man and sleep with one eye open..thanks for posting! peace B*tches!

09-01-2004, 02:00 PM
Well I am moved and settled..and on the job hunt. I am in a gym and still working out. The gym is great but not without its drawbacks, like for example the seated row only goes to 200 lbs, and they dont have a belt that you attatch to plates to do pull ups and dips. But they have plenty of free weights and good and up to date equipment. I will post as usual at the end of each week...I have to come to my wifes Parents to use the road runner internet. Well see yall around...Kc and Rene, let me know when you guys get the tickets for the 11th so I can get you the money. I will talk to yall later. Peace

09-01-2004, 02:09 PM
Sounds good Stubby.

09-09-2004, 10:53 AM
well, first week off, feeling tired more and sore the next day alot more. The max weight is still the same just the amount of times I can lift it have decreased some. I will post my workouts in a few days so you guys can compare the on/off cycle workouts. Hope you guys are doing well and have better results. Thats you KC and Rene....duh! well send me info about the tickets and stuff for the 11th. Peace!

09-09-2004, 11:30 AM
Hey stubbs! Good to see you're settled in. Things have been good in the gym. Tickets can't be purchased on-line. I called the contact number...but only a voicemail answered. I'm thinking we're going to have to go down there. Anyhow, cya this weekend slowto.
