I decided to stop the CKD diet. I now can see my abs.
Thats good enough for me.
I didn't like downing so much fat, I wasn't comfortable with it.
My new diet is
Carbs: 400 grms
Protein: 200-225 grms
Fat: 70 grms
Carb up, now it's Monday. I did legs.

Food is on.
Gonna hit cardio for 20 minutes tonight.
Also gona do calves and abs tonight.
ECA stack taken 3x's per day.
Water is on, all is well.

My bench has dropped since the CKD diet.
I did chest and shoulders this morning.
I'm going to do back tonight.
My food is dead on and I'm looking a lot better. My glycogen stores are still not full yet.
The reason I'm attacking this so aggresively is because I want to see what kind of results I can get from not drooping my cals and just doing cardio.
The results will be in at the end of December.
I'm currently 198.5, eyeballing I would say 14% now.
The fats coming off.
My strength increases won't be very much these next 3 months but I'm not worried.

Weighed in at 202.5 this morning.
I'm considerablly leaner compared to my fat ass 4 weeks ago.
I completed my 20 min session of cardio in the morning and then did another at night for 35 minutes yesterday.
Today I will be doing arms and shoulders.
I'm gonna severely assult them tonight after work.
My food is on as well.
I do however need to be getting some more sleep.

Curious what type of carbs you are eating. I'm about to up my carbs. Right now I'm eating mostly oatmeal, and wheat breads.

Basmalti rice, fruit (low glycemic) malto dextrin(postworkout)
whole wheat pasta, bread (seven grain).
It look as if I gained some muscle as well. I have lost a lot more than 8 pounds so it seems that the CKD diet did allow for some muscle gain. I would guess maybe one pound.

Well Saturday and Sunday were write off days.
Feels good to cheat.
Now it's back to the training.
I'm not going to deprive myself of things that taste good so I will keep two cheat days in a week.
I've done my am cardio (20 mins) now it's time to do my pm cardio.
I'm gonna go for 30-35 mins depending on how I feel.
I took my ECA caps 3x's today.
My weight is at 205.5.
It seems to fluctuate a lot.
Diet is cool, so is my water. I need some serious sleep though.

Maki after you finished the ckd did you jump straight into your new diet? Or did you gradually add carbs or what?
How did you feel after the change?
What is your routine like now?

I didn't notice any fat gains after switching to a convential way of eating.
I jumped straight from the CKD to a high carb diet.
After the change I did feel much better not to mention a lot more full looking. Because of the volume of cardio I'm doing my strength is still lagging but not to the extent during my CKD experience.
My routine is a 3 day slpit with legs first in the week followed by back, chest and then on Friday it's arms and Saturday if I'm feeling good I'll do power cleans.
Cardio is at 4-6 x's a week for no longer than 20 minutes intense and 35 at a moderate pace.
I've been extremley tiered for awhile so my cardio is off and my training as well.
I skipped yesterdays session and I will do cardio this morning and a back and shoulder session tonight.
I did chest on Monday and I've found now that my chest is extremely sore now after each session.
My diest was off yesterday, I ate maybe 2200 cals.
I get my BF test done tommorrow and I'm most likely at 15% right now.
I will post the results tommorrow.

Ok cool Maki. I've read that it might be a good idea to gradually increase carbs to go back to a more balanced diet but I don't know how much truth there is to that.
I for one feel much better without carbs in my diet except of course for the carb up. My strength has actually gone up but I dunno if it will continue to since I dropped more calories.

Back on track after a wild weekend.
Gotta catch up on some sleep.
I will be starting a new program which will consist of 85% of all my exercises being performed only eccentrically for 6 weeks.
Starting with a bicep,tricep and shoulder wo today.

My arms were rubber after my workout. Massive pumps to die for.
I did legs today. During my warmup for squats I heard a loud rip as i was going down. I thought for sure I had ripped a huge hole in my pants. I checked the mirror and laughed. Nothing happened so I did another warm up set. This time the rip was even louder. Well after when I got home I checked to see what had happened.
Apparently my fat ass busted open my boxer shorts during my warm ups. I had a huge tear that went all the way down my two cheeks.
Other than that I'm doing well. My BF test showed that I was at 16%. I'm happy since I must have been around 19% before.

Not all my abs, just the top two and my middles are strating to show.
I haven't been adhering to my program.
I'm gaining weight.
I'm now 205.5 now.
Workouts are killing me slowly.

Well the weekend was good. My food was on. I stopped taking my vits as my food intake is much better so I don't need them.
I've also stopped my cardio, I want to regain a bit of strength and work on putting on some lean muscle with around 3200 cals.
Hopefully I can reach 212 or so by the end of December.

I did my arms and calves last night. I never finished my workout because of time restraints.
My arms are sore today.
I 'm also a little tiered.
My cals have beeen upped to 3200.
I'm gonna bulk again.
What the hell, why not?

Just a question. Why do you do calves and legs on different days? Do you not consider calves part of your legs? :) I think doing calves on a leg day with squats, etc.. works them even better, making them that much more stronger, bigger..

I don't do them on leg day becuase my tank is running on empty by the time I get to doing them.

Leg day was pretty good.
My strength is suffering due to a lack of sleep.
Weighed in this morning at 204.5.
Looking a lot leaner than my last pics.

Just finished doing chest.
I had a 3 hour nap so that helped but my strength is poo aweful right now????
My food is on.
I stopped doing cardio about 2.5 weeks ago due to strength problems.
I will start it up in January.

Ok, I have to buckle down and start adhering to my own program.
I've been slacking big time and even though I'm losing BF slowly I'm not happy with my progress.
I party wayyyyyy tooooo much, sleep late and am not really following my diet.
My protien intake has dropped down to less than 200 grms a day and my workouts as far as strength is concerned are horrible.
I keep changing my mind on whether I want to bulk or lean out.
Basically I need to get my ish together now!!!
If I want to compete I won't even place with this type of attitude.
Time to get my ass in gear. Thats it.

Got good sleep.
Had a kick ass leg workout.
Napped for 1.5 hours.
Gonna do my cardio tonight.
All in all it is a ace day.

I had a 1 hour massage on my hams and glutes yesterday.
Man they're tight.
Did shoulders and 25 mins of light walking last night.
Food is on.
Today I will do back and chest and tonight I will do 20 mins of cardio.
I'm still searching for a comp to enter. The earliest is May 22 which I'm really starting to put serious thought into entering. This means my prep work will start in the middle of Febuary.
I am aiming for 180 but I realize that the weight isn't all that important. If I can come in at a 176 shredded I will be happy.
Once I come to the decision I will look to hire a coach which will most likely be Go Pro.
I have so many things I want to do butI must prioritize them.
The one thing that will hold me back is my long work hours.
Anyways we'll see..........

Calories were a tad low but I was extremely tiered and opted for sleep over a meal.

Napped for 3 hours.
I'm supposed to do my arms tonight but I'm still tiered. Gonna save that for tommorrow along with some cardio.
Weight was 210 at 12:00 noon.

I had a write off day on Sunday even though I trained arms and they are sore as heck today.
Today I will do two 20 mins cardio sessions.
Food is cool, my water is on and I'm feeling much better as far as rest.

I only peformed 1 20 min session on Monday.
Tuesday I rested.
Tonight I did legs and tommorrow I'll do 40 mins cardio.
Strength is slightly up.
Cals are over but thats fine.
Not much else to say.

Skipped the cardio and ate like crap.
I need some motivation.
My fat loss is not going at the rate I want to be going all be it I am losing BF slowly like I said before.
I'm gonna have to do something about this problem.

Aparently not. I am losing a pound a week but I just am not satisfied with my eating habits or the way I'm going about this program. I've called for back up so I'm confident I'll be on target in a matter of weeks.

Well I got some help so on the 10th I'll be following someone elses directions. This should hold me accountable.
Tonight I will do 20 mins cardio and arms.
I'm coming down with a cold....doh!
