I know this type of thread has been done a hundred times before but i felt this fella deserved to be mentioned.

So he's working out with his head phones on, however in between his sets he would literally go into a huge air guitar solo. He's actually looking at himself in the mirror and he's giving it loads. And its not just one pose either he's switching things up, different speeds, positions, head banging etc

I was in stitches until his next set when he pulled out a drum solo.

oddly I kind of respect anyone who is so unselfconscious that they could airguitar unabashedly in public like that

most of us are too concerned that someone will think we're weird, and like make fun of us on an internet board or something.

You should join his band and play with him.

He sounds like one cool dude. Just don't ask him for a spot - he may get to a Motley Crue song in the midst of your set and drum that bar right down on top of you.

he was very unselfconscious because after every set of bicep curls he would lift up his top and examine his abs from all angles in every mirror.

After his was done with weights he went on the cross country skier and skied in accordance with the tempo of the music(I can only imagine this is what he was doing) A couple of quick singular actions, followed by a series of very fast actions before he slowed down again

A strange man

There is a guy at my gym who does an air drum routine between sets to the music in his headphones.

Ftotti I do that all the time, I listen to cool as rock music and I bang my head, dance and do solos in between my sets, people get annoyed but I dont care.

bahahahahah you the man Rock!! :D

Some guy spotted me on bench a couple months ago... big dude and intense as hell. At the end I said "MAN! Youve got intensity written all over you!!" He says "intena.. wha? Is that a good or a bad thing?" I said "uh, a good thing..." and backed away slowly.

Lol, man you must've gotten a guy from my old gym. He sang, danced, lip synched, played the air guitar. It was great, too bad he was a guest and I only got to see it a few times a year.

That is one of the funniest threads ive read in ages. Thankyou for making me actually cry laughing :)

The really scary part is that air guitar features in about 15-20 minutes of my daily life in sporadic yet stadium filling moments. its just me, my air guitar, the LOUD music and of course 110,000 adoring fans.

However I have not yet stooped to doing it in the gym. I shall tho. Just to bring this level of cheer to other people.

The true maniacs are the ones who actually silently mouth "Thankyou Wembly and GOODNIGHT" at the end of their "set". Oh and then come back for the encore.
