4 rounds of heavy bag work
2 rounds of double ended bag
3 rounds of foot work drills

Trail ride

went for a two hour ride, I discovered that I cannot fly :bash:
my front tire got slammed in a rut brining the bike to a stop
and I went for a small flight, no dammage to the bike or me
it was fun, I dumped the bike once more for a grand total of 2 times
it was awsome though we discovered a bunch of new trails
some day I will make a map

normaly I wouldnt count the trail ride as a workout but my
bike weighs 278 lbs full of fuel, pushing it around and pulling
it out of the mudd is a chore

today was really cool

Reinier-
its going pretty well, I have been lurking here off and on while I was a dirt bike junkie, I am still addicted to the bike but training comes first
I also became an amature boxer, no fights planned but I spar 2-3 times a week depending on how full the gym is and if I can get time in the ring.
I started boxing for the cardio but now its gotten into my blood and I think I will continue for a while and see where it takes me

captain piddles
07-01-2004, 09:23 PM
I think before I enter a tough guy contest I need more training
cause of all the lifting I got plenty of power I just need more
footwork, I tend to stand there like a tank fireing off shots,
more than once I got clocked in the face cause I was rooted
so maybe in a year or two I will compete, who knows
if I do I will send ya a video tape of my fight as long as ya dont
laugh at me,

Fart Barker

not bad did some shadow boxing between sets with 16oz gloves
I realized the traps play a part of keeping your gaurd up, during the
shrugs the shadowboxing kept the tension on them so they really had no rest between sets, tried a 120lb curl, not ready, will try again next time
also my digital camera crapped out on me so I will try to get some new pics up

the incline was insane
all I could do was push forward

today we went on a 4 hour trail ride
it was awsome, I was riding at my best
it was overcast and hadf rained earlier
so there was plenty of mud
at one poing I was going up hill in third gear
and my tires slid into a rut mad by an ATV
I was thinking I was gonna whipe out
but I hit the trottle hard and stood up
it was cool :smoke:

also I have decided that 168lbs is the lowest I will go so I got to climb back up to 200lbs

Diet:
eating kinda sloppy, which is ok I want to pack on some weight

the best thing I ate today:
3 grilled cheese sammiches with tomato and seasoned fries

*not bad, a little light but slowed the reps down :)
3) seated press 40x10 40x10 40x10 40x10
* too light :boring:
4) upright row 30x10 30x10 30x10 30x10

5) delt raise side 30x10 30x10 30x10 30x10

this is the plan I am following
each month I add 10 pounds
it starts off real easy but a few months later and the poundages rise
I came up with it cause I felt that my strength was not corresponding with my size, and I needed to catch up :bang:

but now I think I can use it to pack on size
who knows

but its worth trying

well friday at work we got hit with two huge trucks of regular merchandise then three trucks of dry grocery, and a diairy/meat refrigerated truck, there was no room to move around in receiving  , so saterday morning we tried to push all the freight to the sales floor for 2-3 hours and get ready for another night of maddness, digging out the trucks was rough, its a four hour hell :ninja: , you figure with the money they make that they would consider putting it all on pallets, instead they just pack the truck to the hilt, we set up a long set of rollers, one person up digging out boxes and putting them on the roller and pushing while 4-5 people sort the boxes by department and put on pallets, its rough work but we have a good crew, for the past few nights I was up front digging it all out, once the sorness is gone I will do back and bicep, probably monday, also its my 12 year wedding anniversary, :smoke: YaHoo! :smoke:

it made the ride really scary cause the bike was so unstable, we stopped early
cause I didnt want to get hurt, on a good note I am getting better at the jump spot
and I took corridor 5 home really fast , I was supprised at the way I was handling
the tire problem and speeding along that fast on corridor 5

this thursday we are gonna sit and fix the back tire, pull it off and fix the tube
check the chain while we got it dismantled

not to shabby, everything went well except the bench press
by the time I got to 245lbs I was spent, felt good though
on the fourth rep I was screaming and I put everything into it
wasnt able to go trail riding due to a flat back tire, the tube has
a hole in it, my guess is it let go when I landed last time we were
riding and I did the jump, so I took the tire off and tried to replace
the tube but it is really hard to do

so till I finnish fixing it my bike is grounded :bang:

No More

Ive been getting the runaround with managment.
when I was dept manager of pets they screwed me
the dept was a mess so they put me in it,
once I cleaned it up and got it running
they gave it to one of the managers freinds :omg:
then when I was dept manager of the pharmacy
they screwed me again, I cleaned it up
and got kicked out so they could put who they wanted in,
this time and the last time they skipped over me for a promotion
I was more qualified and there was no competition :bash:
so the imported another associate from another store
when I put up a fight and told them I wasnt happy they
told me to wait
since that was the third strike
I walked

now im gonna be makeing $4 an hour more doing less
and having better benifits

its sad when you bust your butt for a company
and they refuse to recognise you for your contribution :(
all the giving up days off to help out or unload trucks,
all the sudden overtime,
stepping up to the plate to help when you really want to go home

all for nothing

walmart sucks

well I started my new job today and it was sooooooo cool
I remembered alot about the job, so it was easier getting going

on a bad note i had a major bike crash in the woods
I was riding on the edge of a deep rut on the side of the trail
when the font wheel slid in the rut and the back wheel kicked into a smaller one tripping up the bike
at the speed I was traviling at I was flung into a rock and the bike came down and squashed me
being squashed sucked I thought I broke my shoulder or elbow or both
but when I was up and walking I checked and nothing was broken
which is a mystery cause I was really slammed hard

but everything is going good and the new job is great

my friend's dad used to say that he got in a fight with multiple people when he was younger. he said he hollered out, "Big guys one at a time, little guys jump in when you can." I didn't believe his story for a minute, but it is a funny saying. just keep some big macs on hand in case one of them comes after you. it will distract them.

actualy I think its over,
I had to work a few presses down from him,
I kept thinking this stinks and I was ready for a crappy night
about half way through the night I saw him struggling to get a tote of steel cases for his job up onto his table, he tried two or three times and then walked over to his buddie, curious as to how heavy it was I went over and put it up on the table, probably was 75-80lbs, I went back to my press and started working when I hear,
"hey........hey" so I look down the press line at him, he was smiling ear to ear and he said thanks and gave me the thumbs up

so no fight
I was kinda hopeing to use my new boxing skills but I like it better this way
after that he seemed cool and not so tough guy like

I guess kindness does go a long way
