View Full Version : Taking a week off + alot of cardio = muscle loss?

How do i go about preventing muscle loss since I won't have a chance to do strength training for the next 9 days? I do plan to do a lot of cardio. I am currently 208 pounds, scale says I am 27% body fat, don't know how accurate that is. Goal is to get down to 190 pounds without losing too much muscle.

I wouldn't expect much, if any noticable muscle loss in 9 days. In fact, if you've been training for a while without a break, you may actually do your body some good by giving it a break.

just dont put yourself in a severrrrrrrrrre calorie deficit you should be fine.
