View Full Version : Help! I'm going to lose weight!

I am going to lose my wbodyweight and I want to know what to do. I'm going on a hiking trip to the pyrenees on the Spanish/French border in less than a week from now. It should be awesome, but its for two weeks, it will be long and hard and I'm sure I will lose weight. What can I do this week (!) when I'm there and when I get back to try and minimize lean body mass losses.

If you think I'm being paranoid, I went on another mountain climbing trip two years ago for ten days which was less challenging and I lost almost a stone, probably about 10 pounds. 10lbs in 10 days!

Help!

Easy solution. You burn more calories, you eat more calories.

when i go backpacking i load up on very calorie dense foods. bring a jar of PB, dried fruit, lots of nuts, summer sausage, ramen noodles (cook, drain, and add a lot of olive oil). These are some of the things i do when i'm on the trail.

6 small meals a day keeps the fat away.
