what so bad about egg yoke when your cutting? or do people only eat the whites when they are bulking too?

If you're eating 2 or 3 eggs a day then there's nothing wrong with egg yolks.

But if you're eating 10 or 15 then you want to limit the yolks because they are high in cholesterol. For many people, there is a direct link between dietary cholesterol and serum cholesterol. And even if there isn't there is still saturated fat in egg yolks.

Fat and cholesterol. OK in moderation. 1 egg has 6 grams of protein, roughly 3 in the yolk and 3 in the whites. 17 calories in the whites and about 70 calories in the yolk. Do the math and you'll see why people avoid the yolks. The yolk is also where egg cholesterol is stored. One egg provides about 70% of your recommended daily intake. So you would'nt want to eat a lot of whole eggs everyday if you were trying to avoid fat and cholesterol.

Egg yolks are good and good for you. They have most of the nutrition of the egg, as well as the fats.

Who the hell cares about dietary cholesterol? Saturated fat may not be the best in large amounts, but it's extra carbs that will really mess up your cholesterol.
