ya nice title, though i would keep track of things so i know what im doing

today leg and shoulder day
oh dumbell for shoulders, 45x8 55x8 60x8 65x8 70x8 75x7 <---:(
went back to shrugs after a month off, 275 shrug with barbell
kinda lagged on legs, grr...

ran for 12min at 6.5mph

my trainin days are mon-thurs, onprotein soon to be trying no-xplode

im 19, 6 2" 190lbs. more info as the time goes

so i got pissed off, went on the smoth machine, and did incline while silently making fun of the machine, callin it dirty names and told it i was gonna kick its ass.

3 times i have gotten to 275x5.. i got there 2 weeks ago above it, now im loosing it, ill be dammed if i cant do 315 once or twice by dec.

tried doing the leg press right after squats but bringing the weight down into me my lower back :whip: still might be too tight after 2 months of healing. its fine but tight i think and hurt. so i think ill stay with 300lbs leg press and work on strechin the lower back when i bring it down

i fiigured i was only getting 2k a day and 160g of protein a day. DAM THAT SUCKS. so im shootin for 3k and 250g of protein a day. today i BARELEY made it to 2,000cals and a lousy 160g of protein UUGH this is gonna be hard to get back into., plus i have a little cold. GGGEERRR good luck to me! and my DAM lower back

trying to reach for 3000cals a day now and 220of protein, some days i make it, sometimes i fall short A LITTLE.. did shoulders today... "225"x4 on the smith machine.. then went for dumbells standing up 70lbs. did one arm at a time for 6reps each. did squats today to. 215x6 haha. almost didnt make the 3rd one almost sat down. lower back is SOOO in need of gettin stronger. thats tmw.

currently taking opticen and thermociin..bench is at 275x4.... dumbells standing curl 65x5

did back today nothi8n special 210 behind the head lat pull down 6 times. didnt wanna strain the head this time. did cable rows 190lbsx5

then did dead lift to work in that lower back 95x10 UGH legs laugh at that, but the lower back makes it no joke. dont worry lower back ill get there

plus i saw a pretty hot girl there, id say 16-17yo hehe,kinda scared me though ususally girls look and look away when u look at em. she kept staring at me, i didnt know what to do :cry: and im to shy to talk!

i think you should pull out your tampon and do the skulls with a close grip and use the flat bar. Your elbows will bitch for the first few days but after that it will be real

i usually do skull crushers. but yesterday i feltt like my elbows were to wide out. are your elbows supposed to point in front of you when u do em? i used the ez curl bar and held it in the closest grip. ya the straight bar i love. i guess ill screw the ez bar and stay with the straight bar. how far do u suggest i keep my hands apart 8-10"?

these bars have alot of smooth to em... u must be talking shoulder width apart then. just the way the elbows are that confuses me.


on a side note, DAM does my chest hurt. either that 285 bench or those 70lb du mbell flies. or both. YIKES. i can feel it a little bit in my tris to. todays bi day. screw forearm pain if it happens when i let go. barbells help me grow on bi's. im taking clacium pills to see if that helps. so until then ill bb to post again tonight!

no not shoulder with. I do them with a grip that is about 5 inches apart.

185x3 <--- i felt a pull im my lower back and i didnt like it so i stopped. lower back feels a little sore now but i should be ok. gonna have to figure out how to really fix this lower back thing.

and i also got my 18yo brother to join the gym, he says he doesnt wanna be huge like me just toned. his goal is that he wants to be able to rep 225. hes at 135x5 right now hehe


and monday is the bench attempt. right now i feel i can hit the 315 max bench.. i HOPE i eat like a pig this weekend and not lag out like i did this weekend. good luck to me i hope i can do it

been recomended to stop doing lat pulldowns and start doing chinups/pull ups.

3.5 until i either cry or smile
woke up at 3:00pm so that didnt work for me!

Just crammed 1000 cals in for a meal
6 eggs
protein shake
2 packets of oatmel all this got me 1003cals
94g pro

so i hope i didnt f anything up by sleepin that late. i gotta stop doing that and get off my ass and look for a job! i stayup late anyway like 3-4am so i still have plenty of time to eat 3000-3500cals before the day ends. i guess the fate will stop at the gym and we will see! good luck to me!

had dinner prob 400cals and just ate a protein shake with 2 scoops instead ot the recomemnded 3. ill prob have an apple 15min before i leave to give me some juice. im feeling good. im gonna do the following as a warm up and gonna hit the 315 hopefully

315x2.5 i went down to my chest 2 reps and went for a 3rd but had my bro spot me a bit for the extra rep. he says he was barley helping so possibly in a few months i could be lookin at 315 for 5 reps. as soon as i put down the bar i shot up and had the biggest smile on my face and yelled out WOO HOOOO!! I was so happy i didnt know i could be so happy. WOW My first goal i had for 3 months and i beat it by a **** load. I love u guys :hump:

ha do i sense disbelief! one day when i get the know how of posting vids etc etc ill put one up. who knows how long thats gonna take. prob 50 years. next goal i set for the middle of dec. I dont know if thats to early or not, but the goal is to do 315x5. I might be able to do it, just gotta complete 3 more clean reps.

today sucked. it was bicep day

tried standing barbell curl

115x5 <--- 5th one was pretty difficult
gave up on that and went to barbell preacher

then did one arm standing dumbell curl

30x8 one right after another

hammer curls 30x6 then 40x5

a really disapointing day for me. its like i lost my curling mojo, and i love my bi's. perhaps it is cause im tired today i hope so next week i dunno what im gonna do if 120 doesnt come easiily to me.

and taking calcium pills has seemed to stop my forearm pain after letting go of the bar. SO pills works for me!


but then again as i look on my previous journal up above i was at 115 still. looks like im gonna have to make a goal. my new goal is to curl 120lbs 5 times by the middle of dec, same goal as benching. Ill show you all whos got the power!

went to do deep squats and pushed for rep #8 and knocked out the lower back again. today was the last day ill be doing squats for a while, or forever.

Did some calf raises, dont really like those cause they feel weird, im gonna have to find some way of doing em.

Shoulder and legs today

Seated barbell shoulder press

155x5 <-- seemed a little to easy

i guess i finally got outta that rut of 185lb shoulder press for barbell!

DUmbells seated

80x5 <---- grr i gotta get 8 before i can move to 85's :(

NOW i didnt do squats cause the fear of hurting it BUT i did get the balls to try some leg presses. I took it easy and put one plate on each side and did about 50 reps each rep id go SLOWER and the last 20 reps i went deeper slowly and slowly and let it really stretch my back. Then i threw on 2 plates and did about 30 reps went slow and let it stretch my back slowly. Threw on 3 plates per side and did about 20 reps and really gave my back a stretch and went slow. Im really feeling good about this and didnt pull my lower back out. I felt a really nice stretch in my lower back and i was happy, Quads finally got an ok work out from that. SO all in all im happy so I think I will stick to leg presses for a bit and try to get the lower back into it.. Squats im about scared right now lol. But the point is im trying to fix it and i feel good! Thanks for listening!!!!!

did machine barbell row if thats what u call it ( where u lean over a pad and pul the weight up, no cables attached to the weight, so kinda like free weight it moves side side up down, u guys get it lol?)

6xbw i think next time ill add some weight, maybe start off with a 5lber and do 5 reps

Hyperextension to help the lower back

then did some quick stiff legged deadlifts with dumbells
45lb dumbells x 40 reps... WOW i could hardly stand up straight after doing that! back still is going good, didnt pull anything, so looks like im on the road to recovery
