How much do you good morning in proportion to your deadlift? I have just started doing these, and my already unimpressive deadlift now looks like a record breaker in comparison.

if your back is limiting your deads they will be really unimpressive

it took almost 2 years to get my back up to speed with my legs

maybe it's different because I use straps, but I can deadlift like 460, but good morning only about 185.

Yeah I'd always known my lower back was my weak link. Grip and hamstrings have always made excellent gains so I knew that couldn't be it. My good morning is around 30% of my deadlift :(

i can deadlift around 550 but the most i have ever done good mornings with was a set of 365 for 4 reps, they work the hell out of my glutes

id say about 50%, but i'm just a beginner... so it might not be accurate

deadlifts never been my strong point but im working on it

im in due to gettin back to dead lifts... hopefully the lower back holds out on it, my lower back is weak. talkin 120lb bb curl 285x3 bench, 205x8 lat pull downs and never worked my lower back :eek: ... so what exactly is good mornings? and could this neglect of not doing lower back involve it being sore and hurting for some time... well not "hurting" but a nice big sore......
