I bought a pack of regular flavoured Quaker oatmeal the other day. It's the kind that is packaged into packeted per serving and is put into the microwave with water to cook. I've heard a lot of people saying negative things about these kinds of instant oatmeals, especially ones that have been highly processed and flavoured (cinnamon, apple, maple, etc...)
My question is; does regular flavoured instant oatmeal make a good choice? The box reads it to have only 1g of sugar, rather than the 10-15g on the flavoured ones and still contains 21g of carbs.
Here's a rough sketch of what tha nutrition table looks like:
Calories: 200
Fat: 2g
Carbs: 21g
Sugars: 1g
Thanks in advance!
