Hey, I really would like to participate in a meet and hopefully be able to set a bench record. I am a member of APA/WPA but they don't have any meets anywhere near where I am. I live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area of Texas and will be moving to Boston, MA to attend MIT in the fall (August 20something), I'll be there until January. If anyone knows of any upcoming meets in any federation in these areas, I'd be eternally grateful. I'm dying to compete.

Heres some recent stats:
5'11' 195lb (I can make the 198lb weight class)
Age: 16
Raw Bench (pause): 315
Raw Deadlift: 335
Raw Squat (all the way down like contest style): 315

Thanks for any help.

There are meets all over. Search the web.

Check out IPA, APF, APA, and USAPL.

I'm sure one of them will have a meet in Texas sometime this year.

I'm competeing in upstate NY just West of Albany on September 18th. It will be a 3-lift meet, but you can just do 1-2 lifts if you like. It is an APF/AAPF sanctioned meet. If you want the info I'll post a link.
