View Full Version : Chicken breast alright?

My mom is nice enough on sundays to make about 12 chicken breast for the week for me. When she cooks the chicken breast on the grill she puts alot of barbeque sauce all over them. When I eat them they are still semi dry but she uses alot of bbq sauce. How bad is this? Does it really make a difference? I'm thinking there is some extra sugar in it but doesn't it really negatively affect me?! :rolleyes:

refined sugar = not good
but it's not exactly a toxin
it has been shown to stop phagocytic activity which is a function of your immune system
to me the key is not adding it to things and eating whole foods like chicken breasts instead of mesotech bars which have about 40g's of sugar

i wouldn't worry too much unless your following a strict cut.

yah I agree, if your on a bulk dont worry about it, but if your cutting then I'd cut it out

If you are concerned about the sugar, use Atkin's steak sauces.
