Say you eat breakfast than 2 hours later another meal, then you go and start working out 2 hours after that and finish 2 hours later now its time for your post workout shake but you have not eaten for the past 4 hours. How will this gap effect your metabolism? Also if your post workout shake is 5oo calories and in order to eat 6 meals in the day you need to cut down the time between the remaining meals to like an hour and a half before bed, is it ok to eat an hour after the 5oo calorie shake is consumed?

Your PW shake will be used pretty fast so 1 1/2 should be fine .. then eat a nice solid meal.

First of all, a 2 hr workout is entirely too long. If your not beat after an hour, then I doubt your intensity is as high as it could be.
Second, at the end of a workout (especially if you didn't eat immediately before the workout) your body will be in a very catabolic state. This is prime time to give your body lots of calories in the form of carbohydrates and protein.
My advice...eat your meal, wait 1.5-2hrs, train for 1hr, take your PWO shake.

Yes. In fact it is usually recommended to have a normal meal ~1hr after your PWO shake.
