I have heard and read alot that it is good to change your lifting routine every few months. What about diet? Say someone has a great diet is it good to use the same diet for year

variety and moderaton are key.
I wouldn't stick with the same meals day in and day out for months on end.
Also, cutting/bulking might lead to faster gains in muscle growth...

Change your diet based on your current goals (bulking, cutting, etc.)
