Do routines like this work well for burning bodyfat? I haven't been in the weight game for a while (been slacking off), but I need to lose some bf (just for general health purposes). Thanks.

Basically it's a HIIT training style. Read this (http://www.wannabebigforums.com/showthread.php?threadid=23970) . Lots of great info and more specifics about HIIT.

And yes, HIIT works, to answer your question.

Yeah, I knew it was a HIIT routine. I just posted the title because it was easiest. I just wanted to know if this training was worth doing for lowering bf%. Thanks.

if it burns kcals, then it will lower bf, as long as your intake of calories is lower than the amount you expend.

Chasing chickens will lower bf, sex will lower bf, combining the two will get you arrested though. In short, anything that gets you heart rate up will lower bf. The best way to do it is to figure out your target heart rate, and keep your HR there. To figure your target HR is;

Subtract age from 220 to find maximum heart rate.

Subtract resting heart rate from maximum heart rate to determine heart rate reserve.

Take 70% of heart rate reserve to determine heart rate raise.

Add heart rate raise to resting heart rate to find target rate.
