View Full Version : Carb sensitivity testing... (a little out there...)

Hey everyone...

I know everyone reacts differently to carbs, I've been thinking of testing how my body reacts to carbs by testing my blood sugar levels with a small blood sugar level tester (the ones that diabetics use).

Has anyone ever done this? I know this is absolutly unnecessary, and way out there.. but it's just to learn what foods affect me the most / least...

What do you think?

the russian scientist that invented the Periodic Table said

"The Science dosen't begin until we start measuring things"

I think it's a valuable learning experience

if it's not science it's speculation

That's not a bad idea at all.

hmmm. I think this would help identify if you are diabetic, but without concurrent insulin testing, it would be hard to assess sensitivity.

but hey, as was mentioned before, let the measurements begin!

let us know some of the results
