I could not find anything that shows that two weeks on two weeks off is the optimal period when using Clen. I know it's been widely claimed that this is what one should do but I have never read any vaild reasons for using this pattern.
Has anyone used a week on one week off or a 2 weeks on one week off? If the two weeks off and on method is based upon the period of time it takes for the receptors to upregulate again then where is the info backing this statement?

Bump to this. I remember seeing something about it but can't find it now.

Clen down regulates beta-2's very quickly. I think downregulation exceeds 50% by 2 weeks which is how the 2 on 2 off became propular. However it takes closer to 8 weeks for full upregulation of beta-2's to take place. So I don't believe theres any real science to the protocol.

So is the downregulation dose dependant?
As for youe answer, I figured the two week on/off method wasn't based on upon science. Thanks ST.
This supplement definitely intrigues me.

Down regulation is dose dependent to an extent, very little clen is needed to cause downregulation 5mcg/day will cause some. However downregulation is accellerated when doses are taken higher and heart rate increases as the body tries to return to homeostasis.

Hmmm, then I suppose all this cycling off and on is realy an individual thing, granted it takes into account the half life of the supplement.
Thanks again ST.

If I recall correctly, there is a supplement called ketotifen (I think I spelled that right) that slows/stops the downregulation of the receptors, allowing clen to be effective for a longer period of time
Can anybody elaborate?

I think doing a search for SUperclen will yield some results. I remember reading it a while back.

That is correct but it also increases appetite which is troublesome.
t-3 is another way to increase beta-2 density.
Your right restless, don't know what I was thinking about when I wrote that...hitting the crack pipe to much lately, lol.

I don't like using Ketofin so I'm more interested in the proper timing of clen and how it can be effectively used.

Ketotifen is not the drug in ketamine!

2 weeks on, 8 weeks off Maki. :D Didn't you hear the man?
What do you have against ketotifen?

*** I read that part Alex.:) I was questioning that it must be dose dependant which means that upregulation could vary. This means that one could very well cycle on and off Clen using periods less then 2 weeks on/off. Now this would mean that the effects wouldn't be as great in the short term but over the long term it could be more effective.
For example, if I ramp up to 150mcg in the first two weeks it would take longer to upregulate as opposed to if I slowly increased up to 100mcg during a two weeks period which wouldn't overload (poor wording) my receptors as much and wouldn't cause me to take a longer period of time off. Now in terms of a fat burning effect ramping up quickly would probably work better but I can't handle the side effects.
So instead I ramp up slower then usual and tale less time off.
Does that even make any sense at all???

*** It made me feel rather sluggish even with caffiene (200-400mg).
