Hey all, I am planning to start a new cutting cycle next week but want to make sure I have all my ducks in a row before I start. Last time I went off half cocked and it made it very hard to maintain. Here is my proposed intake:

Meal 1: Protein Shake and 2 fish oil pills (130 cals/3g fat/2carb/23g pro)
Meal 2: One can tuna (150 cals/2.5g fat/ 30g pro)
Meal 3: Turkey Sandwich (110 cals/3g fat/11g carb/ 14g pro)
Meal 4: Protein Shake (165 cals/2g fat/4.5 carb/ 35g pro)
Meal 5: Protein Shake (165 cals/2g fat/4.5 carb/ 35g pro)
Meal 6: Turkey sandwich (110 cals/3g fat/11g carb/ 14g pro)
Meal 7: Chicken breast + .5 cup rice (410 cals/ 6.5g fat/ 34g carb/52 g pro)
Meal 8: Chicken breast (240 cals/ 4.5g fat/ 48 g pro)
Meal 9: Turkey Sandwich + 2 fish oil pills (130 cals/5g fat/11g carb/ 14g pro)
Meal 10: 2 eggs + 1 T. Peanut Butter (260 cals/ 16g fat/ 8 carb/ 19 g pro)

All in all: 1950 cals/ 53g fat/ 87g carb/ 300g pro
or
24%fat/ 16% carb / 60% pro

I am 6'0" 198 lbs. I don't have my BF % but i am an ectomorph of there ever was one. I made it so I have many meals because I am a snacker. I tried 6 meals with larger portions but was still hungry less than 2 hrs later. I will be drinking 1 gal water a day as well. Any ideas of what I can do? The more hyper critical the better. Thanks.

what type of turkey sandwiches are these? Is the bread whole wheat? Are you using any condiments at all? I don't understand how it could be only 110 calories. I must know your secret :)

Calories seem awfully low for a close-to-200lb ectomorph. That's less than bodyweight x 10, and those are just the STARTING calories for your diet...I assume you will adjust down as time progresses. IMO, I would add another 50g or so of fat. This would make your fat total more adequate, while giving you an extra 450 calories which I think are necessary.

One of the main goals of a cut should be to keep calories as HIGH as possible, while still achieving one's goals. This keeps your metabolism up to speed, and allows an easier transition once it's time to bulk up again.

My turkey sandwiches are made with WW bread and 2 slices of turkey breast...not sandwich meat. I use mustard sometimes but that still doesn;t affect the caloric total. Also, How would I go about adding more fat to the diet? I would say 5 more fish oil pills, but the ones I take are huge and arent too cheap.

Olive oil, flax oil, nuts. Just to name a few.

Ok what sort of retooling would you recommend for my diet? Short of guzzling down a bottle of almond oil or olive, I don't know an effective way to get this suggested fat into my plan

You can mix a tablespoon of olive oil in your shakes (thats what i do) , eat some nuts , doesnt has to be a whole lot but maybe like 2oz wich is very doable (they contain healty fats also).

Bake your meat in olive oil.

Exactly.
Or you can just be a man and chug it down. :p
