Anything wrong with having them for breakfast in the morning with a fruit?

It's ok to do any exercise if you are cutting. Granolas are fine as long as you reach your caloriec goal, whatever that may be.

Calories-100
Calories from Fat-30
Total Fat-3.5g
Total Carbs-17g
Protein-2g
Doesn't add up:
Protein = 2g = 8cal
Carbs = 17g = 68cal
Calories from fat = 30
Fat = 3.5g*9 = 31.5
(or)
Fat = 3.5g*8 = 28
Either way, you don't get 100 calories... you get between 104 and 107.5
Ignoring labelling inaccuracies, IMHO, the bar is too high in fat, with fat comprising 30% of the calories.
If the fat were dropped to 1-2 grams, then I'd say it would be an excellent source of carbs for an early meal.
Fortunately, at only 100 calories, you have another 1-200 with which to balance it out. Wash it down with a 120cal protein shake (23g protein) and you now have a full high protein "meal" comprised of:
Calories-220
Total Fat-4.5g = 40cal
Total Carbs-20g = 80cal
Protein-25g = 100cal
This brings you down to 18% fat, and though the protein level is too high at 50%, you'll balance the carbs later in the day... or you can throw in a 5oz apple or an orange and you've got another 80 calories of pure carbs .
Calories-300
Total Fat-4.5g = 40cal = 13%
Total Carbs-40g = 160cal = 53%
Protein-25g = 100cal = 33%
Ahh... much better :)
Plenty of energy, good protein shot, and decently clean.
