I don't have much time to eat breakfast before school. So, I am always looking for a quick energy-filled solution. I currently drink a lot of smoothies with some weird stuff in them. They don't taste to great, but they give me the energy to make it through the day and my workout. If anyone has any recipes or tips, I would be very grateful.

You could always wake up a little earlier every morning?

Eggs are quick and easy. You could cook food the night before and eat in the morning?

Oats take less than two minutes to make...throw in some protein powder and you're good to go. :)

Does the oats and protein mix taste good?

Here is what I do for breakfast:
2 bowls of Oatmeal
Protein Mixed in with a glass of milk
3 Bannana's and an apple
That doesn't take long to make or eat, and I think it's pretty healthy.

Yeah, it looks to be pretty healthy with good foods in it. However...that is a $HITLOAD of carbs for one meal...mind me asking WHY MAN? WHY???

Because school food sucks, and they don't give you much of it...well at least at my school. So really that's breakfast and lunch for me.

Bring food to school. When I was in school I at 2 meals while at school. I just brought a cooler and kept it in my locker during the day. That way your food stays fresh and I would mix protein shakes as well.

Just fill up a jug with a cap with fountain water and mix it up. Did the job.

Not at my school, we get like 2 minutes in between classes. So you can't really even get a drink of water.

Um, well personally I've tried adding chocolate protein and it tastes like warm puke to me, but what I do now is cook the oats, add a tbsp of plain soy protein, 1 tbsp of natty p/b, a sweenter and some milk. This tastes great. :)

Anyone tried mixing grape jelly with their oats?

I've tried the peanut butter thing. I didn't like it.

Hell yes. At our school we had a choice of

Pizza or hamburger or sandwich of the day

AND

fries or baked potato or potato wedges

AND

dinner roll or some type of shitty desert

The lunches were terrible, it was like eating fast food every day of your life. The alacarte was even worse. They have oven baked french fries with greasy fried chicken. Its hard to believe that people ate it. No wonder everyoen was so fat and out of shape including me.

hahaha.. Hell I eat tuna for breakfast on a daily basis. :D I like this recipe myself....

1 cup oats
3 eggs (one whole, 2 whites)
A little Sweetner
Some Cinnamon
Dash of salt

Mix together and microwave for 5-7 minutes stirring twice. Its not really fast, but its tasty. ;)

hahahaha. I've done that. Seemed like a great idea while I was making it....

My breakfast:

12 egg whites, made with hot sauce, ketchup, and grated parmesan cheese. Don't look at me like that. It tastes really good.

1.25 cups oatmeal, made with skim milk. Add in some fresh ground cinnamon, some salt, some potassium chloride, two packets of equal, and a tablespoon of natural peanut butter. mmm.
