Hi Im a newbie to bodybuilding, but I have been lurking around here for about a year now. I used to be really skinny - was around 150lbs at 5'9 about a year ago. I read up here and started bulking a couple of months ago now I am 22 y/o at around 175-178 last time i weighed myself at maybe 15-16% BF.. I used to Muay Thai kick box so my legs and calves are pretty big and solid.

Anyway I never joined a gym before. I just have 25lb, 20lb, and 10 lb dumbells and I havent really lifted any weights in almost 3-4 months now.

I will probably be joining a gym within the next few months when extra cash is available but for now I only have some dumbells, and will be doing pushups/situps while eating alot I plan on hitting 180-190 before cutting..

anyway I'm a major newb and I have read the forums and the articles on the site.. like I said, I will be working out at my home for a few months before I can afford to join a gym, can anyone give me some advice on what kind of excersices to do with what I have available? and how to do them right, please explain the terms also I'm not familiar with lifting terms. maybe someone can provide a link to a site where they show how to lift and do pushups properly.

here are a few pics. thanks in advance!

P.S

Right now all I do is eat eat eat, I eat everything and anything.. I don't want to be skinny anymore. but I do plan on upping my protein intake. and getting some protein shakes to consume at work. I have a very fast metabolism, so I get very skinny fast if I don't eat. any diet advice would be really helpful also. thanks again.

EAT TONS OF CLEAN FOOD!

Get a good split like 3-4 days a week include all the big lifts with proper form (this is crucial) Bench-Deadlift-Squat and just keep it consistent. You have a solid base i bet you will see good results if you don't deviate in about 6-8 months.

Good Luck!

If you have been lurking for a year like you said, you would defenitly know what a deadlift is.

heres a little 6 month update - I got up to 188-190lbs at the peak of my bulk and I started cutting slowly a couple of weeks ago for the beach season..

im probably around 185 maybe 15-16% bodyfat in this pic - I apologize I know its not a proper comparison pic since it was taken in better lighting.. I will post up proper comparison pics a couple of weeks from now when I'm satisfied with my cutting results.

I learned alot during my winter bulk, thanks to the wealth of info on this site. Next season I will hit over 200lbs for sure!
