158- 161 lbs (flux)

This is my diet as it stands

2 eggs (with yolk) for breakfast
oats + Splenda

Subway lunch
12" wheat bread
loads of veggies.

Soup or pasta anytime (not the healthiest but it fills me up at work and its quick and easy to make)

Pasta shells and tuna mix
tuna on wheat bread

Protein shake 2x daily on workout days.
with glut and creatine (5g)

well thats what it looks like.

I am trying to gain mass mostly in my chest, as that is the area that troubles me the most.

Food choices look acceptable, how many calories and what are the macro breakdowns?

use www.fitday.com i've found it pretty good fro keeping track of how many calories you've eaten as well as carbs/fat/protein % and grams.

diet looks good :)

2 eggs isn't very many especially for the first meal of the day, but it depends on how they fit into your total calories for the day.

You can't tell the mass you gain where to go.

Gimp I take them in capsule form daily (they contain no calories, only the fats)

08-26-2004, 12:59 PM
Like all fats they do contain calories, 9 calories per gram.

Try and add a 4- 8ounce chicken breast in the morning

I think what he means here is that your breakfast could use a bit more protein...that's why I said 2 eggs aren't very many. You don't HAVE to add chicken, that's just a high-protein suggestion.

What would be a high protein food that I can take on the road with me?

The eggs cook and eat and leave, I dont get to enjoy them.

So my question is what else can I eat with my breakfast? Remember its gotta be fast and affordable, and i rather not have a shake if possible.

Can of Tuna, hard boiled eggs... I eat cold chicken breast cooked from the night before sometimes.

08-26-2004, 01:26 PM
I'd say just add more eggs, that was what I was implying initially.

08-26-2004, 01:26 PM
Well i have tuna in the late afternoon/night.
I cant eat chicken that early.
and I already have eggs in the morning :(

Thats why I said I cant eat chicken that early.

WEll eggs, its tough, how many would you suggest I eat for breakfast?

Depends on how much room you have for more calories. Eggs are something like 70-90 cals/egg (depending on the size), so the calories can add up quickly.

I had 8 eggs AND a chicken breast this morning, but I doubt you'll increase your intake this much all at once.
